The processor is in communication with a remote device via the transceiver and is configured to: determine whether first and second buttons of the remote device are pressed based on signals from the remote device, if the first and second buttons are released, stop rotation of the wheels, and communicate a message regarding the released first and second buttons to the remote device.

摘要： A drag braking system and method for a model vehicle are provided. The drag braking system may include a transmitter comprising a throttle input and a motor control device. The motor control device may include a user activated operation set selector and a memory storing at least two braking profiles. A first or second braking profile is selected via operation of the operation set selector and a braking force is applied by a motor of the model vehicle according to the braking profile selected. The method may include activating a user activated operation set selector and selecting a program setup mode or a profile selection mode. The method may further include setting a neutral position for a throttle input and selecting a braking profile. Wherein the braking profile applies a braking force via a model vehicle motor when the throttle input is in the neutral position.

摘要： An inertia motor for a toy has a housing supporting a rotating flywheel. The flywheel has a disk with generally radially movable elements, movement of which vary the moment of inertia of the disk. Another element is supported by the housing so as to be movable towards and away from the disk and is located so as to be able to engage at least one of the movable elements when the flywheel has slowed sufficiently. Angular momentum and energy in the flywheel at engagement is transferred to the housing. The housing may also include a transmission such as a gear train to connect the flywheel with one of more elements of the toy to be powered by the flywheel.

摘要： A remote-controlled toy vehicle includes a plurality of road wheels supporting the toy vehicle for movement. A driving motor is selectively reversible between first and second directions of rotation and is drivingly connected to at least one of the road wheels through a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism operates in at least two modes, such that operation of the driving motor in either of its opposing directions of rotation causes rotation of the at least one road wheel to propel the toy vehicle in only a forward vehicle direction. A second motor can provide braking action or a third mode of forward vehicle propulsion.

摘要： A unique drive mechanism for a toy vehicle is disclosed which can be selectively enabled to cause the toy to come to an abrupt halt after a powered run, and which can cause the toy to realistically imitate a "spin out" of a full scale vehicle. The drive train includes a first gear directly rotated by a coiled spring, a second gear coupled in driving engagement with the vehicle's wheels, and a third gear shiftable between an engaged position coupling the first and second gears, and a cleared position wherein the second gear can rotate independently of the first gear. The third gear can be locked in its engaged position by a pivotal, gravity biased locking mechanism. The selective, locked engagement of the first, second and third gears causes the vehicle to come to an abrupt halt after the coil spring has fully unwound at the completion of a powered run.
