摘要: The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for receiving proximity characteristics at a nomadic device, the proximity characteristics including mapped obstruction data identifying locations of one or more obstructions of an area surrounding a vehicle; calculating at last one unobstructed pose orientations for establishing a secure connection between the nomadic device and the vehicle based on the proximity characteristics, the unobstructed pose orientation determined at least in part on the mapped obstruction data; and displaying the unobstructed pose orientation on the nomadic device within an array of augmented reality pose orientations on the nomadic device. In some embodiments, the systems and methods include displaying an interactive overlay as a direction to a user of the nomadic device, the interactive overlay coaching the user to locate to the at least one unobstructive pose orientation.

摘要: Embodiments are directed to a trailer maneuvering assistant system onboard a vehicle to communicate with and receive control instructions from a mobile device app. In one example embodiment, the app interface presents the user with an engagement input area and a curvature command area. The user must provide two types of touch inputs to the user interface portions: a first touch input that includes a complex gesture input in the engagement interface portion. In one example embodiment the complex gesture may be user input of a closed geometric shape such as a circle, oval, rectangle, or some other shape. The input may be complex in that it matches a canonical model for the respective shape. Matching may include an input that is coterminous with the canonical model within a threshold amount of error, and/or meets another guideline or threshold such as being a closed shape, or some other predetermined requirement(s).

The connection configurations identify a hitch compatibility of a coupler of a trailer to a hitch assembly. The method further comprises capturing image data depicting the hitch assembly and processing the image data. Based on the processing of the image data, the method further identifies a detected hitch configuration of the hitch assembly as a first hitch configuration of the saved configurations.

The controller is configured to transmit, via the antenna, an unlock signal responsive to detecting the unlock button is pressed. The controller is configured to transmit, via the antenna, a remote-start signal responsive to detecting a remote-start combination of the buttons is pressed. The controller is configured to transmit, via the antenna, a remote park-assist (RePA) signal to initiate RePA of the vehicle responsive to detecting a RePA combination of the buttons is pressed.

摘要: Method and apparatus are disclosed for mobile device tethering for a remote parking assist system of a vehicle. An example vehicle includes a plurality of wireless nodes, occupant detection sensors, and a body control module. The body control module determines an initial exit location relative to the vehicle of a mobile device based on signal received from the wireless nodes and the occupant detection sensors. The body control module also tracks a location of the mobile device based on the initial exit location using dead reckoning and enables remote parking assist when the location is within a threshold distance.
