    摘要: A centrifugal fluid separation system is disclosed for centrifugally separating a composite fluid into components thereof. This centrifugal separation system includes at least a centrifugal rotor which has a composite fluid containment area, a fluid flow channel/tubing and at least one separated component collection area defined therein. A composite fluid to be separated is delivered to the fluid containment area where under centrifugal forces the composite fluid is separated into components and then from which a component travels through an outlet channel to a respective separated component fluids flowing therethrough. A centrally disposed pump is also provided to move the separated component(s) to the collection area(s). Optical sensing of the interface of the separated fluid components may be used with a clamp to stop flow. A disposable bag and tubing system is also disclosed for use with reusable rotor devices.

    摘要: A two-tube centrifuge separates light material and heavy material from an input mixture. A hollow drive shaft rotates a central body member about an axis of rotation. Two hollow arm assemblies, each having circular cross-section, are mounted on diametrically opposite sides of the central body. Each arm assembly includes an outer housing tube, an intermediate tube, and an inner tube that is longer than the intermediate tube. An end cap having a removable plug is mounted on the outer end of the housing-tube of each arm assembly. The inner ends of all three tubes are mechanically interlocked in a manner to cantilever mount the inner and intermediate tubes to the central-body with their outer ends spaced from the internal surface of the end cap. An input-mixture path extends through the hollow drive shaft, through the central-body, and into a cylindrical space between the inner and intermediate tubes of each arm assembly. A heavy material exit path extends from the inner tube, through the central body, and into an exit cone that lies diametrically opposite the drive shaft and whose axis is coincident with the axis of rotation. A light material exit path extends from a cylindrical space between the inner and intermediate tubes, through the central-body, and through a wall of the exit cone. The inner tube of each arm assembly includes an auger. An electric motor drives the drive shaft. A hydraulic motor drives the auger. An oxidation reactor in a centrifuge for decanting lighter material from heavier material from a mixture of initial material and to perform an oxidation reaction process on the heavier material.

    摘要: A bio cell cleaning rotor assembled in a centrifuge. The rotor includes a plurality of test tube holders for holing a plurality of test tubes. The holders are pivotally movably supported to a rotor body so that the test tube holders are moved toward a horizontal direction upon application of centrifugal force. A cleaning liquid distributor is positioned above the rotor and is rotatable together with the rotor for distributing even amount of cleaning liquid to the plurality of test tubes. The distributor includes a disc like upper segment and a disc like lower segment in opposition thereto. The upper and lower distribution segments are molded products and have radially outer side flat sections in intimate contact with each other. A plurality of radial grooves are formed in at least one of the flat sections. The radial grooves serving as cleaning liquid distribution nozzles each having radially outer end open toward each opening of each test tube.
