    摘要: In contrast to the conventional air brush, an air brush in the invention has a function in which even a beginner can easily perform an operation for pulling an operating rod little by little while the operating rod is slightly pushed and pulled at an initial stage of the drawing of a line requiring a technique and an experience. The operating rod arranged in an air brush main body forms a slanting face therein projected on the front face of this operating rod while the slanting face is inclined from below to above, and this slanting face abuts on the front side edge of a notch port of the air brush main body. An air valve is opened every small amount and a needle is simultaneously retreated every small amount in a range in which the slanting face of the operating rod and the front side edge of the notch port come in contact with each other and are slid at the initial stage of an operation for pushing and moving the operating rod. Anybody can simply perform the initial operation of line drawing by only pushing the operating rod.

    摘要: A device for the protection of a water sprinkler head includes a base and sides enclosing the head, with an open top. The base is adapted to slide over the ground, the sides are arcuate, fixed to the base and protrude above the head. There are means to releasably clamp said device to a water pipe, this means also supplies a water path between the pipe and the sprinkler head. A water jet from the sprinkler head passes above the sides, through the open top. An irrigation system comprises the pipe which can be pulled along the ground behind a vehicle. At regular intervals along the pipe are sprinkler heads within the devices. An irrigation method involves moving the irrigation system with a vehicle, either with or without the sprinklers operating.

    摘要: This invention relates to an improved dosing assembly (valve/feed line/liquid collecting vessel) which permits nearly immediate response time to an actuator signal. Such an assembly is used for the controlled introduction of any liquid through a valve into a collecting vessel. In particular, the inventive assembly exhibits substantially no leakage from the feed line into the liquid collecting vessel when the valve is closed and an instantaneous introduction of the feed line liquid into the liquid collecting vessel upon opening of the valve, both when a liquid possessing a surface tension of about 50 dynes/cm2 is used as the measurement standard. This assembly is particularly and preferably suited for injecting colorants into reactants for the production of polyurethane slabstock foam and permits a substantial reduction in foam waste due to low colorations during an on/off cycle. Preferably, this inventive assembly comprises a ball valve, a manifold, and a connector pipe which may contain at most 30 mL of liquid at any single moment and which is measured in diameter of at most 0.42 inches (about 1.07 cm). Such a connecting pipe permits substantially instantaneous shut-off and -on without appreciable leakage or pressure drop and without the need to utilize a high throughput flow rate. Also, such a specific connecting pipe is wide enough to permit high through-put rates should the need arise. The valve/pipe/manifold configuration is contemplated within this invention.
