摘要: A cooling system for a building including a lower space and an upper space with a ceiling positioned therebetween. The lower space has a window and an opening in the ceiling is spaced from the window so that the lower space is in air communication with the upper space. The window is covered by water absorbent, porous material having a water source in communication therewith. An opening from the upper space to the outdoors is positioned the length of the upper space from the opening in the ceiling. A fan system is positioned in the upper space to draw air form the lower space and directs the air out the opening to the outdoors. Whereby air is drawn through the water absorbent, porous material, through the opening in the ceiling, and travels the length of the upper space before exiting through the opening from the upper space to the outdoors.

摘要: A pre-chill system for reducing the temperature of air entering a cooling system includes a wicking material sheet and a series of frame segments. The frame segments are operable to secure the wicking material sheet to an outer casing of the cooling system in a path along which air enters the cooling system, each of the series of frame segments including one or more magnets magnetically attachable to the cooling system. A misting system is capable of directing moisture adjacent an outer face of the wicking material sheet. The frame segments are magnetically attachable to the outer casing of the cooling system over the wicking material sheet so as to retain the wicking material sheet against the outer casing with the wicking material sheet held between the frame segments and the outer casing.

摘要: A humidifier including a spray unit configured to apply electric charge to water, and to spray water having electric charge applied thereto, an evaporation unit formed with a duct in which evaporation of the electrically-charged water being sprayed is taken place, and configured to guide a vapor and a foreign substance, which are separated from each other through the evaporation, to an outside, and a dust collection unit configured to collect the foreign substance at an inside the duct by forming an electric field, the humidifier capable of performing a large-capacity humidification by the generation of the electrically charged droplets, and capable of removing the foreign substance included in the droplets by using the electrical force, thereby enhancing the cleanliness of the humidification, and by using an electric field, accelerating the evaporation so that the size of the duct is minimized, and thus manufacturing the humidifier in a compact size.

摘要: The portable evaporative cooler for vehicles includes a housing with a hanging hook and suction cups for selective mounting to a side window of a vehicle. The housing is divided into various interior compartments for an airflow manifold, a misting assembly, and a heat exchange system. The airflow manifold includes a fan that positively feeds ambient air through a first heat exchanger to pre-cool the air prior to subjecting the same to a moisture mist from the misting assembly for further cooling. The cooled air flows through a second heat exchanger for final cooling prior to exiting the housing and into the interior of the vehicle. The fan forces airflow in one direction to recycle the ambient air through the housing. A controller is coupled to a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor to monitor the air and control the components to cool the air to desired or predetermined levels.
