摘要: Patterned articles can be prepared by applying a release polymer to a substrate in a desired pattern, applying a substrate-adherent polymer over the pattern and substrate, and mechanically removing the substrate-adherent polymer from the pattern without requiring solvent. Suitable mechanical removal methods include applying adhesive tape to the substrate-adherent polymer and peeling the tape and substrate-adherent polymer away from the pattern, and abrading the substrate-adherent polymer from the pattern using impact media.

摘要: A metallo-organic decomposition process for the preparation of intermetallic powders and films. A liquid mixture containing a first metal precursor and a second metal is heated to a temperature in a first temperature range so as to convert the first metal precursor to a first metal followed by heating to a temperature in a second temperature range so as to form an intermetallic compound by a solid state reaction between the first and second metals. The intermetallic compound can be used as a catalyst in cut filler and/or the filter of a cigarette.

摘要: In a method for forming one or more features in a thick-film ink deposited on a substrate, a photoimagable material is used to define a negative of the one or more features on the substrate. A thick-film ink is then deposited on at least part of the substrate, abutting at least some of the photoimagable material. The thick-film ink is cured, and the photoimagable material is removed. One embodiment of the method is used to produce a channel plate. Another embodiment of the method is used to produce a switch.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a fabric coating, which simulates a viscose flocking finish, relative to at least one layer of the fabric coating, and which is particularly relevant to crushed foam coatings, includes the steps of providing fine beads of polymer, which are hollow and partially filled with selected solvents, or solvent blends or other volatile substances, and adding these beads to a coating compound in its wet state. Thereafter, coating the fabric with the resultant compound and oven drying the resulting compound on the fabric, then raising the temperature of the coating to crosslink the polymer and expand the polymer beads within the coating layer. The fabric coating produced by the method, and a fabric coated with the fabric coating made by the method, are also claimed.

摘要: A device for coating a film with more than two kinds of thickness, including a turntable, a mask and a coating source. The turntable spins regularly. The shape of the mask depends on the thickness of the film and the mask is set close to the substrate. The coating source is set opposite to the turntable, and the mask is set between the coating source and the turntable. The invention also discloses a method for coating a film with more than two kinds of thickness. The method including setting a substrate on a turntable that spins regularly, setting a mask close to the substrate and coating a film on the substrate by a coating source.

摘要: A chemical pump includes a pressure chamber, a partition member for dividing the pressure chamber into a cleaning pressure chamber and a discharging pressure chamber, a filter part disposed on the primary side of the discharging pressure chamber, and a single drive mechanism. A pair of openings with respective check valves mounted therein are provided in each of the cleaning and discharging pressure chambers, and are positioned so as to cause a resist solution to flow only in the nullZ direction. The drive mechanism moves the partition member in the nullX direction to cause the resist solution to be sucked into the cleaning pressure chamber and to cause the resist solution to be discharged from the discharging pressure chamber. The drive mechanism moves the partition member in the nullX direction to cause the resist solution to be sucked from the filter part into the discharging pressure chamber and to cause the resist solution to be supplied from the cleaning pressure chamber to the filter part so that the sucked resist solution is equal in amount to the supplied resist solution. This prevents vapor lock and micro-bubble phenomena during the discharge of the resist solution.
