摘要: The present invention is an image recording method and apparatus for recording an image represented by at least two sets of image data separated by colors. Based on the image data, images corresponding to the image data are each recorded on different sections of photosensitive material moving in a sub-scan direction, while the photosensitive materials subjected to main scan by a plurality of light beams. Thereafter, the sections of the photosensitive material are superimposed over one another to produce the final image. Relative positions of the images on each section of photosensitive material are provided to substantially coincide with each other by setting a selected number of blank raster lines in a first main scan for each section of the photosensitive material. As a result, an amount of displacement of each of images on the photosensitive materials is reduced when the sections of photosensitive material are superimposed and aligned with one another to produce the final image. Preferably a blade is used for cutting the photosensitive material into different sections.

摘要: A printing apparatus is provided for precisely applying identifying indicia to wires connected with connectors without causing any displacement of position and orientation. The printing apparatus is provided with a palette 1 which is moved while being guided by slide rails 6, a wire receiving portion 2 on which wires 21 drawn from a connector 20 are placed, a wire correcting device 3, and a holder 4. The wire 21 fed to a marking section is pressed from above and is straightened in its longitudinal direction by the correcting device 3. The holder 4 holds the straightened wire 21 in the center of the marking section. In this state, printing is applied to the wire 21 by a laser marker 5.

摘要: A color-image forming apparatus minimizes displacement in toner images due to irregularities in the thickness of an inter-stage transfer belt. The pattern detector detects a registration reference pattern formed on the belt. Accepting information on displacement over one cycle of travel of the belt from the pattern detector, the displacement amount calculator detects information on displacement in a print range which the toner images formed in a plurality of image-forming stations are transferred thereto. The displacement amount calculator then calculates a mean value of displacement in the range. The central processing unit (CPU) controls the image-forming timing determined by a plurality of exposure units, according to the result calculated by the displacement amount calculator.

摘要: Ink jet printer system for printing an image on a web overlaying a removable substrate and method of assembling the printer. The ink jet printer system comprises an ink jet print head for jetting ink onto the web to form an image on the web. A feeder mechanism is coupled to the print head for feeding the web and substrate past the print head during printing. A first roller is aligned with the feeder mechanism and is adapted to engage the substrate for removing the substrate from the web. A second roller is aligned with the first roller, the second roller being adapted to layer a covering onto the printed image as the first roller removes the substrate from the web. A third roller is aligned with the second roller for supplying the covering to the second roller. In this manner, a layered web is defined. Moreover, a steaming core is provided to bundle-up the layered web, so that a steaming roll is defined thereby. A steam generator receives the steaming roll and generates steam for fixing the ink to the layered web that belongs to the steaming roll. The covering is removed from the layered web to define a bare web. Further, a washer is disposed to wash the bare web for removing unfixed ink from the bare web. Also, a hot-air blower directs heated air onto the bare web for drying the bare web. A take-up reel may also be provided to engage the bare web and wrap the bare web thereabout for packaging the bare web for shipment.
