摘要： A tool for precisely severing sheet material at a uniform predetermined distance from the line of intersection of two surfaces. A wide variety of precise cutting operations may be performed, including operations that leave a uniform predetermined overlap and operations that precisely sever the sheet material at the line of intersection. The tool has a body with a flat bottom surface, a straight front edge, a beveled surface extending between the front edge and the bottom surface and thumb screws for securely retaining a cutting blade. Also disclosed is a removable spacer plate which may be engaged with the body to perform additional cutting operations.

摘要： A heat sealing or heat welding apparatus for sealing lapped joints in laid up roof structures having an interchangeable drive for driving either or both of a pair of laterally spaced drive wheels and in which a heating element is selectively movable to plural operative positions including positions in alignment with the drive wheels whereby drive wheels perform the dual function of a traction drive and a pressure roll, and the drive wheels are able to traverse a path of travel coincident with that of the heating element during heat sealing of such lapped joints by the apparatus. The interchangeable drive and multiple operative positions of the heating element permit the apparatus to move forwardly for traverse of the lapped joint in either of the opposite directions of travel therealong.

摘要： A cutter for wall papers comprises a triangular grip and a sheath embedded therein for slidably holding a cutting blade. According to the invention, a base of the triangular grip defines a slide edge extending at an acute angle with the cutting blade and having a V-shaped cross-section symmetrical with respect to a plane containing a cutting edge of the cutting blade, thereby uniformly trimming edges of the papers extending on a baseboard without requiring rulers to obtain aesthetical workmanship of interior finish work in buildings.

摘要： An auxiliary device for laying flexible wall and floor coverings includes an elongated angle plate having a supporting surface for the material to be cut to size and a pressure strip having a lower pressure surface of approximately the same length as the supporting surface and which has a cross-sectional profile which is configured to complement the profile of the supporting surface. The supporting surface has at one end a wedge-shaped end portion, the outer edge of which defines a supporting edge, and a cutting edge defined at its opposite end, which edges lie in a base plane. The angle plate also includes a part having a locating edge disposed parallel to the cutting edge. The angle plate in cross-sections lies substantially within an imaginary triangle, with its cutting edge, supporting edge and locating edge passing through one corner of the triangle. The device is particularly useful in ensuing that the floor and wall coverings are cut cleanly and accurately to the desired size, in a relatively simple manner.

摘要： A hand-operated dry wall taping machine includes an elongated tubular main body portion, to be held by the operator, with a tape applicator head at the end adjacent the seam being taped. A supply reel of tape is carried from the tubular body. The applicator head includes a dry wall cement dispenser box, through which the dry wall tape is fed. Cement is dispensed onto the side of the tape which is to face the wall being taped. A rotary tape shear is disposed up-tape from the cement dispensing box. A hand actuated pneumatically operated cylinder actuates the rotary shear at the end of the seam being taped and advances a short length of tape through the cement dispensing box in readiness to commence taping of the next seam.

摘要： The present disclosure describes a taping tool for taping gaps, seams, and/or joints between wallboard members that includes a simplified tape advance/actuation assembly. The taping tool has an elongate body portion with first and second ends, and a connected head portion that directs dispensed tape toward a joint between wallboard members. The tape advance/actuation assembly has a control member forming part of the tool's elongate body portion and a tape engagement member housed by the tool's head portion. The tape engagement member moves in substantial unison with and in response to movement of the control member. The tape engagement member engages or disengages the tape depending at least in part on the position and/or direction of movement of the control member. The extent of the engagement between the tape engagement member and the tape may be adjusted though manipulation of a single fastener.
