The resistance applying assembly includes a shaft seat, a first engagement component, a control component and a second engagement component. The shaft seat includes a seat portion and a flange portion. The seat portion is fixed on the chain guide. The flange portion is located at a side of the seat portion away from the chain guide and protrudes from the seat portion. The seat portion is disposed through the first engagement component. The first engagement component is clamped by the flange portion and the chain guide. The control component is disposed on the movable member. The second engagement component is pivotably disposed on the movable member and movable with the control component.

    摘要: A bicycle rear derailleur is basically provided with a base member including a frame mounting portion having a mounting opening, and a fastening member extending through the mounting opening of the base member. The fastening member has a first threaded portion and a placement portion adjacent to the first threaded portion. An adjusting member is configured to adjust a position of the bicycle rear derailleur relative to a bicycle. An intermediate member includes a contact portion disposed between the adjusting member and the bicycle. The intermediate member has a second threaded portion configured to threadedly engage with the first threaded portion of the fastening member. The second threaded portion has an innermost diameter that is smaller than the outermost diameter of the first threaded portion. The intermediate member is disposed on the placement portion of the fastening member.

An upper body operationally engages the rear derailleur to the bicycle, and a lower body operationally engages a chain cage engaging a chain of the bicycle. Upper and lower link arms are pivotally connected to the upper and lower bodies. The upper link arm includes an actuating arm extending downwardly from the upper link arm through an aperture of the lower link arm. A cable for actuating the derailleur operationally engages the actuating arm for moving the chain cage relative to the bicycle.

    摘要: An adjusting mechanism is provided for a bicycle derailleur, which can adjust a position of a chain guide in an axial direction. The derailleur basically has a base member, a movable member with the chain guide and a linkage assembly. The adjustment mechanism is preferably operatively coupled between the movable member and the chain guide, or between the base member and the frame. The adjusting mechanism includes a first tubular portion, a second tubular portion, a biasing member and an adjustment member. The second tubular portion is arranged around the first tubular portion to move axially relative to the first tubular portion via the adjustment member. The biasing member is arranged to apply an urging force on the tubular portions. One of the tubular portions has a rigid non-compressible support projection arranged to selectively contact the other tubular portion when the tubular portions move relative to each.

    摘要: A family of new bicycle shifting systems incorporate improved derailleur designs that are controlled by sealed hydraulic actuators. The shifting systems (i) a hydraulically-actuated, manually-powered front and rear derailleur shifting system, (ii) a hydraulically-actuated, power-assisted front and rear derailleur shifting system with manual control, and (iii) a hydraulically-actuated, power-assisted front and rear derailleur shifting system in which the shifting sequence for the rear derailleur is controlled automatically by pedal speed. Each of these shifting systems utilize a totally sealed, inclined linear shifting path. Environmental contaminants are prevented from entering any of the critical derailleur or control elements. The linear, inclined shifting path provides precise chain shifting, more uniform chain wrap on the rear bicycle drive sprockets, and lower chain and sprocket wear. Several different shifting control units are disclosed. An integrated shifting and braking module is also disclosed.

    摘要: A bicycle front derailleur includes a frame bracket for fixing the derailleur to a bicycle frame, a cage plate for guiding a chain among a plurality of chainwheels, and a radial adjustment mechanism for adjusting a position of the cage plate substantially radially relative to the chainwheels. In a more specific embodiment, a derailleur bracket fixes the cage plate to the frame bracket, wherein the derailleur bracket defines a derailleur bracket opening. A bushing is disposed in the derailleur bracket opening. The bushing defines a bushing opening such that the bushing has an eccentric shape relative to the bushing opening. A fastener extends through the bushing opening for fastening the bushing to the frame bracket. Thus, rotation of the bushing varies the position of the derailleur bracket and hence the position of the cage plate relative to the chainwheels.

    摘要: A derailleur serves to change the speed of a chain driven vehicle by moving a change-over frame having a tension and a guide pulley, the change-over frame being formed of a single plate and provided with a chain holder positioning radially outwardly of the guide pulley and keeping engagement of a driving chain therewith. Interaction between the change over frame and chain during the shifting of speed is substantially reduced. Chain position is maintained by means of a chain holder reducing chain interference with the change over frame. The chain may be removed with a minimum effort without special tools.
