摘要： A conveyor apparatus includes first and second groups of fins which are spaced along the conveying direction to provide spaces sufficient to hold packs therein. The fins in each group are divided into first and second sets. The first and second fin groups are mounted to first and second conveyor chain pairs, respectively, and moved through pack loading and unloading stations. Stepping motors drive the first and second chain pairs independently. A controller causes a fin set after being loaded or unloaded to be forwarded to the unloading or loading station at a speed higher than the speed at which the fin sets move through the loading station.

摘要： A discharge chute for the unloading auger of a combine is provided with a discharge opening which provides maximum discharge flow rate and maximum clearance for moving and positioning of the auger. The discharge chute has an upper surface extending downwardly at a first angle relative to a horizontal plane, and a lower surface extending downwardly in a second angle relative to a horizontal plane. The first angle of the upper surface is greater than the second angle of the lower surface. The discharge chute also includes an internally mounted dribble door pivotal between raised and lowered positions. The door prevents grain dribble when in the upper position, and allows unobstructed grain discharge when in the lowered position.

A drive shifts the charging device and the discharge end of the first conveyor relative to one another for selectively aligning the inlet of the first chute or the inlet of the second chute with the discharge end for selectively introducing items from the first conveyor into the first or second chute. A sensor detects items advanced on the first conveyor. A control device is connected to the sensor and the drive for operating the drive based on the sensor signals.

摘要： An apparatus and method is provided for feeding bulk metal objects from a hopper supported by a frame. The hopper includes side panels that taper downwardly to form an interior chamber therebetween with upper and lower openings. Doors are hingedly attached to the side panels adjacent the lower opening and are opened and closed by piston and cylinder combinations pivotally attached to the frame and pivotally attached to members extending downwardly from the doors. Arms extend from the doors into the interior chamber to facilitate the movement of the metal objects in the hopper toward the lower opening to feed through the doors. Vibrations created by various movements of the doors also help move the metal objects toward the lower opening.

摘要： An apparatus for singly loading perpendicularly conveyed elongated members from a first conveyor to a second conveyor. The apparatus is positioned downstream of the first conveyor and upstream of the second conveyor. The apparatus comprises plural stopper arms each analogously displaceable between an abutting position, wherein the stopper arms hold elongated members from moving forward on the first conveyor, and a bypassing position, wherein the stopper arms are disposed away from the first conveyor for allowing the elongated members to move forward as displaced by the first conveyor. Plural analogously moving lower loaders wheel each have a generally circular body with a gripping surface on an outer periphery thereof. The gripping surface is adapted for abutting an elongated member. Plural analogously moving upper loader wheels are generally positioned above the lower loader wheels and have a resilient peripheral portion. Plural stabilizer wheels are idle and adapted for lying on a top surface of an elongated members at least when the elongated member is abutted against the stopper arms. The apparatus is synchronized such that the elongated member is lifted by the gripping surfaces of the lower loader wheels when the stopper arms are moved to the bypassing position, whereby the elongated member is engaged between the gripping surfaces of the lower loader wheels and the stabilizer wheels or the resilient portions of the upper loader wheels while being transferred from the first conveyor to the second conveyor.
