Abstract:
A star feeder (4) is arranged between a first and a second conveying device (1, 2) for conveying objects in series and it serves for transferring the objects (G) from the first conveying device (1) to the second conveying device (2). In order to make the star feeder adaptable to a wide range of different types of objects, the compartments (5) are all simultaneously adjustable regarding their form and/or their radial depth.
Abstract:
A clamping claw assembly is secured to an endless transport device, such as a chain conveyor. A fixed clamping jaw is engaged by a movable clamping jaw to secure a product placed between the two. The movable clamping jaw is carried by a lever arm which is movable by an actuating lever. The actuating lever is biased by a tension spring between stable open and closed positions, through a dead center position. The movable clamping jaw is in a locked condition when it is in its closed position due to the force applied by the tension spring.
Abstract:
A device for the hooking of printed circuits includes a support constituted by a roughly U-shaped structural shape with a seating designed to allow the insertion of the printed circuit, one or more pins inserted into holes in one wall of the structural shape, and thrust systems designed to push the pins against the opposite wall of the structural shape, and devices designed to engage the thrust systems in order to retract the pins and allow the insertion of a printed circuit.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for conveying printed products in an imbricated formation with different spacings between the products, from a feed conveyor to the grippers on a removal conveyor. The printed products are introduced into the grippers in groups without any change in the spacing between successive printed products, and the conveying speeds of the feed conveyor and the removal conveyor are coordinated such that the portion of each group of products which projects into a gripper is less than the depth of the mouth of the gripper. Also, a deflection device at the transfer location serves to deflect the leading end of each group of products toward the approaching gripper. Alternatively, the grippers are controlled so that in the transfer location, a leading clamping part of the approaching gripper engages a trailing clamping part of the preceding gripper so as to guide the next group of products into the mouth of the approaching gripper.
Abstract:
A cable feeder having a first drive unit, a second drive unit, a third drive unit and grippers. The first drive unit has a platform, which is rotatable about a third point of rotational and driven by a motor via a belt. The second drive unit is carried by the platform and arranged to be displaceable on the platform in the direction of an axis by the third drive unit. The grippers with the cable ends when in the operating region of an automatic insulation-stripping device are controlled by the second drive unit so that both cable axes extend parallelly and the cable ends are stripped of insulation at the same time. Thereafter, the second drive unit with the grippers is displaced rearwardly in the direction of the axis by the third drive unit and pivoted into the operating range of the following automatic device for the equipping of sealing sleeves. After this operation, the cable ends are brought into the operating region of an automatic crimping device.
Abstract:
The installation for the transport of helical-shaped wound springs comprises a star turret with gripper hands. The gripper hands consist of two jaws of which at least one is pivotable and is pressable with the force of a tension spring against the second. The spring produced on the winding machine is pressed by the insertion means into the gripper hand and is held firmly by this by the force of the tension spring during the transport and during the heat treatment. For the transfer of the spring to a transport device insertion jaws are pivotably connected to the transport means and push the spring out of the gripper hand, overcoming at least a part of the tension force of the tension spring, into a receiver on the transport device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a gripping clamp for receptacles, each comprising a body and a neck having a projecting collar presenting a substantially radial bearing face beside the body, the clamp having first and second jaws, the first jaw being arranged to co-operate with the bearing face of the collar and the second jaw being arranged to co-operate with a zone of the neck that extends in the vicinity of the bearing face on its side facing away from the body, when the clamp is in a closed, gripping position.
Abstract:
A bag conveying apparatus including a sprocket continuously rotated on a horizontal plane, a fixed guide member having a guide section of a semicircular shape, and an endless chain mounted between the sprocket and the guide section of the guide member. The endless chain is comprised of a plurality of links connected by connecting shafts. Guide rollers rotatable about their own vertical axes are disposed on and under each connecting shaft, and an inside guide roller rotatable about its own horizontal axis is disposed on the inner side of each link. The guide section of the guide member has roller guide sections that contact the guide rollers of the endless chain, and the guide section also has a guide groove in which the inside guide rollers of the endless chain are fitted. Grippers that grip both edges of a bag are installed on each link.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for holding disk-shaped plastic substrates for pick-up and deposit. The device includes a holding device having at least one support unit for the plastic substrates, and a pick-up and/or deposit device on which a plastic substrate is mounted and from which the plastic substrate is picked-up or deposited. The holding device has a recess and the disk-shaped base body has a cylindrical protrusion on its side facing the holding device, which can be plugged into and releasably held mechanically or in a permanent-magnetic way in the recess.
