摘要: The invention relates to a process of producing a dental zirconia restoration, the dental zirconia restoration having an outer and an inner surface, the process comprising the step of firing a porous dental zirconia restoration and a glass until the porous dental zirconia restoration is sintered, the glass being located during the firing step on at least a portion of the outer surface of the porous dental zirconia restoration, wherein the zirconia material of the porous dental zirconia restoration and the glass are selected such that during the firing step the glass infiltrates the pores of the porous dental zirconia restoration to an extent of not more than 5 μm in depth. The invention also relates to a sintered dental zirconia restoration obtainable by such a process and a kit of parts comprising a porous dental zirconia mill blank and a surface treating agent containing a glass for use in such a process.

摘要: A method for manufacturing frying, grilling, baking, and/or cooking utensils involves creating a green body from powdery silicon carbide, carbon, fillers, binders, and additives using ceramic shaping methods such as pressing, isostatic pressing, hot pressing, casting, die casting, or injection molding. The green body is carbonized and subsequently infiltrated with a metallic silicon melt. Through a final infiltration firing, the green body, together with carbon, forms a silicon carbide bonding matrix, resulting in a dimensionally stable frying, grilling, baking, and/or cooking utensil of the highest stability without residual porosity and with a temperature resistance of up to 1,350° C. This method gives rise to the aforementioned cookware, produced through the described process.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a ceramic tile decorated with dry particles to give a three-dimensional pattern and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of A: glazing a surface of a green body with a ground coat; B: decorating a surface of the ground coat of the green body to form a pattern; C: drying the green body; D: embellishing the green body with dry particles; E: spraying a protective glaze on the surface of the green body; and F: firing the green body after the green body is sprayed with the protective glaze of step E to produce the ceramic tile decorated with dry particles. The manufacturing method can make the ceramic tile produced have a clear pattern, distinct layers, low glaze glossiness, a good non-slip effect, an obvious sense of dry particles, a strong three-dimensional effect, rich colors, and stable properties.

摘要: A metal oxide composition for use in ceramic bodies to form a ceramic whitener-opacifier composition is disclosed. The metal oxide composition includes one or more crystalline metal oxides or crystalline mixed metal oxides of Al, Ca, Mg, Si and Zr. The metal oxide composition includes at least (i) Al in an amount of from about 5 wt % to about 40 wt % measured as Al2O3, (ii) Ca in an amount of from about 10 wt % to about 30 wt % measured as CaO, (iii) Mg in an amount 5 of from about 0 wt % to about 25 wt % measured as MgO, (iv) Si in an amount of from about 10 wt % to about 25 wt % measured as SiO2, and (v) Zr in an amount of from about 15 wt % to about 35 wt % measured as ZrO.

摘要: A dry granular ceramic tile from a wet slurry spraying process and a preparation method thereof, comprises: applying an overglaze on a green body, applying a pattern by ink-jet printing, applying a dry granular glaze by bell-shaped spraying, and sintering to obtain ceramic tiles. The dry granular glaze contains: by mass percentage, dry granular frit A: 15%, dry granular frit B: 12% to 15%, dry granular frit C: 13% to 17%. The softening temperature of the dry granular frit A is 1135° C. to 1175° C., 980° C. to 1050° C. for the dry granular frit B, and 1020° C. to 1127° C. for the dry granular frit C. The dry granular frits used in the present invention adopts a combination of dry granular frits with three different melting points, and using such a matching method, it is convenient for the effective adjustment of the brick shape and the firing temperature during production.

摘要: A pre-sintered porcelain block for dental restoration; the pre-sintered porcelain block does not contain crystal phases and has a Vickers hardness of 0.5-2 GPa. Due to a hardness which is significantly lower than that of the porcelain block containing a lithium metasilicate crystal phase, the pre-sintered porcelain block may be processed by using dry machining and can simultaneously be processed by using wet machining when being mechanically processed into a dental restoration shape.
