摘要: A method of producing a melt infiltrated ceramic matrix composite (CMC) article that includes the steps of: forming a ceramic fiber preform; optionally, rigidizing the ceramic fiber preform with a fiber interphase coating via a Chemical Vapor Infiltration (CVI) process, infiltrating a ceramic slurry into the porous body or preform, conducting one or more secondary operations, and finally, melt infiltrating the preform with molten silicon or a silicon alloy to form the CMC article. The infiltration of a ceramic slurry into a ceramic fiber preform to form a green body is performed along with the use of convection and/or conduction as heat transfer mechanisms, such that the ceramic slurry does not require the incorporation of a pre-gelation material in order for the slurry to remain within the green body during subsequent processing steps.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a technology that realizes a silver-colored decorative portion that does not spark when heated by a microwave oven, is lustrous, and has excellent coloration. A platinum solution disclosed herein is a platinum solution used for silver decoration of a ceramic substrate and includes at least Pt, Si, and Bi. In terms of a weight ratio where a total of a metal element included in the platinum solution and Si is 100 wt %, the platinum solution has a composition that includes 50 wt % to 99 wt % of Pt, 0 wt % to 25.5 wt % of a total of Au, Rh, Pd, and Ag (where a content of Rh is 0 wt % to 8.5 wt %), 11 wt % or less of Si, 10 wt % or less of Bi, 0 wt % to 5 wt % of Al, and 0 wt % to 15 wt % of other metal elements.

A molar ratio of said Hf0.5Si0.5O2 and HfO2 combined to said Zr0.5Si0.5O2 and ZrO2 combined is from 2:1 to 4:1. A molar ratio of said Hf0.5Si0.5O2 to said HfO2 is at least 1:3.

摘要: A method for fabricating a porous ceramic heating body, and a method of fabricating a heating body. The method for fabricating includes, in sequence, mixing, ball-milling, defoaming, molding, and drying, pore-forming agent discharging, sintering, and electrode leading. The whole method is simple, and by using a box furnace to sinter the green body under an oxidizing atmosphere and normal pressure, the fabricated ceramic heating body is heated uniformly and the heating efficiency is high.

摘要: A method for enhancing optical properties of sintered, zirconia ceramic bodies and zirconia ceramic dental restorations is provided. The porous or pre-sintered stage of a ceramic body is treated with an yttrium-containing composition and sintered, resulting in sintered ceramic bodies having enhanced optical properties. The enhanced optical properties may be substantially permanent, remaining for the useful life of the sintered ceramic body.

摘要: A method of forming a ceramic matrix composite with being impregnated with molten metal includes: stacking a plurality of fiber layers that are layers of reinforced fibers impregnated with base resin to form a laminate in which a matrix layer containing fibers extending in a direction of impregnation with the molten metal is disposed between the fiber layers; forming an impregnation path in the matrix layer entirely in an in-plane direction perpendicular to a direction of the stacking in the laminate by carbonizing the formed laminate; and impregnating, with the molten metal, the laminate in which the impregnation path has been formed.
