摘要： A class of 2-aminobenzoazoles is described which is used with primary accelerators to enhance the vulcanization rate of rubber. The new vulcanization activators are characterized by the formula

IN WHICH Y is oxygen or sulfur, X is hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, nitro, halo or hydroxy, and n is one or two; when n is one R is hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, hydroxyalkyl, or alkenyl; when n is two R is alkylene. The conjoint use of the new activators with thiazole accelerators is particularly advantageous since the vulcanization rate is increased without affecting the processing safety of the vulcanizable composition.
