摘要: A hydrogen generating cell comprising an input electrode plate pair, an output electrode plate pair, an X plate electrode positioned adjacent the output electrode plate pair, and a plurality of intermediate electrode plates disposed between the input and output electrode plate pairs. A plasma torch is spaced apart from and inductively coupled to the input electrode plate pair. A pulsed DC voltage is applied to the plasma torch and X-plate, while a lower voltage pulsed DC is applied to the input and output electrode plate pair to cause generation of hydrogen gas from water in which the cell is immersed.

摘要: A neutralization cell is provided which may be used to increase a pH level of a chlorine solution. The neutralization cell includes a neutralization anode, a neutralization cathode, an inlet, and an outlet. The neutralization anode and the neutralization cathode are positioned to divide the neutralization cell into a middle area between the neutralization anode and the neutralization cathode, an anode area on a side of the neutralization anode furthest from the neutralization cathode, and a cathode area on a side of the neutralization cathode furthest from the neutralization anode. The inlet directs the chlorine solution into the neutralization cell by directing an incoming flow of the chlorine solution into the anode area. The outlet directs the chlorine solution out of the neutralization cell by directing an outgoing flow of the chlorine solution from the cathode area.

摘要: A modification method of an anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis, the anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis and use thereof are provided. The modification method of the anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis includes providing an anode substrate which can be used for hydrogen production via catalytic electrolysis; and depositing a plurality of silver nano particles on the active surface of the anode substrate to form a silver nano layer, wherein gaps are present between the silver nano particles, and a part of the active surface is exposed from the gaps. In the modification method provided by the present application, the silver nano layer covers on the surface of the anode substrate, and chlorine ions are adsorbed onto the surface of silver in the process of hydrogen production via electrolysis to form a chlorine removal layer.

摘要: A cell for enhancing a lithium (Li) concentration in a stream includes a housing; a dense lithium selective membrane located in the housing and dividing the housing into a first compartment and a second compartment; a cathode electrode located in the first compartment; an anode electrode located in the second compartment; a first piping circuit fluidly connected to the second compartment and configured to supply a feed stream to the second compartment; a second piping circuit fluidly connected to the first compartment and configured to circulate an enrichment stream through the first compartment; and a power source configured to apply a voltage between the cathode electrode and the anode electrode to initiate an oxidative electrochemical reaction on the anode electrode and a reductive electrochemical reaction on the cathode electrode. The dense lithium selective membrane has a thickness less than 400 μm.
