摘要: The present invention relates to an electrochemical catalyst with a Schottky junction that can be used for selective redox reactions, more specifically, it is configured to forming a Schottky contact on the interface between metals, and metal oxides operating as a semiconductor material to selectively occur oxidation or reduction reactions through Schottky barrier control. Accordingly, the present invention ensures that substantially only oxidation reactions occur in the anode of a fuel cell or a water electrolyzer, while substantially only reduction reactions occur in the cathode and, thereby, has the effects of preventing catalyst degradation and increasing durability.

摘要: An electrode structure includes an electrolyte membrane, a plurality of anode catalyst particles located on an anode side of the electrolyte membrane, a plurality of cathode catalyst particles located on a cathode side of the electrolyte membrane, and a recombination layer located between the electrolyte membrane and the anode catalyst particles. The anode catalyst particles are used for electrolyzing water into a hydrogen ion, oxygen, and an electron. The cathode catalyst particles are used for combining the hydrogen ion and the electron with each other to produce hydrogen. If hydrogen generated on the cathode side of the electrolyte membrane permeates into the anode side across the electrolyte membrane, the hydrogen having permeated is combined with oxygen to turn into water again in the recombination layer. This makes it possible to suppress mixture of hydrogen into oxygen to be output from the anode side.

The porous layer is stacked on an external side of the catalyst layer. The ionomer layer is interposed between the catalyst layer and the porous layer. Thus, it is possible to reduce electrical contact resistance between the catalyst layer and the porous layer.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a carbon dioxide conversion apparatus for preparing carbon monoxide: including an oxidation electrode; a reduction electrode opposing and spaced apart from the oxidation electrode; and an ion-exchange membrane disposed between the oxidation electrode and the reduction electrode, wherein the oxidation electrode includes a hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) catalyst, and the reduction electrode is a gas diffusion electrode including a metal nanocluster catalyst, and an electrochemical carbon dioxide conversion method using the same. According to the present disclosure, the electrical energy required for conversion of carbon dioxide can be decreased significantly and the selectivity for carbon monoxide can be improved.

摘要: A modification method of an anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis, the anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis and use thereof are provided. The modification method of the anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis includes providing an anode substrate which can be used for hydrogen production via catalytic electrolysis; and depositing a plurality of silver nano particles on the active surface of the anode substrate to form a silver nano layer, wherein gaps are present between the silver nano particles, and a part of the active surface is exposed from the gaps. In the modification method provided by the present application, the silver nano layer covers on the surface of the anode substrate, and chlorine ions are adsorbed onto the surface of silver in the process of hydrogen production via electrolysis to form a chlorine removal layer.
