摘要： A method of manufacturing wrinkle-free garment seams and garments made therefrom comprises (a) placing a bonding element comprising a thermal adhesive between garment components; (b) stitching along a seam line; and (c) applying heat and/or pressure to cause the adhesive to melt and flow along the seam to bond at least one garment component. The thermal adhesive has a melting point of higher than about 150° C., preferably in the range about 160° C. to about 190° C. Alternatively, a bonding element comprising any adhesive material and having a substantially U shape is used to make various seams, such as a yoke seam, a shoulder seam, a side seam, a pocket seam, a hem button stay seam, a sleeve seam, a collar seam, etc. Wrinkle free garments, such as shirts, pants, blouses, skirts, etc., incorporating the seams are produced.

摘要： A pucker free garment seam providing a garment with a tailored and wrinkle free appearance. The pucker free seam and method for production utilizes a bonding strip which contains at least a thermal adhesive component which is inserted between opposing surface of a garment component along the seam. A sufficient amount of heat and pressure is applied to the seam which causes the adhesive of the bonding strip to flow onto the surfaces of the garment component thereby creating a compressed seam and permanently bonding the surfaces of the garment component together along the seam to eliminate puckering associated with shrinkage of sewing thread at the seam.

摘要： A blind-stitch sewing machine has an elastic fabric bender to bulge the material to be sewed following each step of advance through an aperture of a throat plate into the arcuate path of motion of an arc needle pivoting to-and-fro transversely to the direction of advance of the material being sewed, and a stop for the bulged material mounted on the throat plate. The stop of the throat plate is designed for the purpose of sewing labels having unevenly thick rims onto the inside of finished garments along the label rim so that the arc needle pierces the edge of the label laid on the garment and emerges from the garment and the label rim is lifted off the garment at the stop so that only the garment is forced by the fabric bender against the stop.

In one embodiment, two hanging slits are located on the towel allowing the towel to be hung on a peg, or similar shaped object. The two hanging slits are located on the hanging towel on opposing edges of the hanging towel, each at a location in a middle portion of the hanging towel and near the opposing edges. A slit reinforcing stitching area surrounds the two hanging slits. The slit reinforcing area consists of a frame stitch area, an outside stitch area, a fill stitch area and an inside stitch area.

摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus for sewing a thread chain into a seam by an overlock sewing machine, particularly an apparatus for providing a specified length of thread chain remaining in a side of the sewing machine. A cutting device cuts a thread chain formed consecutively with a trailing end of a workpiece at the first operation. In a working face in the vicinity of the cutting device in a fabric feeding side, an air suction nozzle is provided for drawing a separated thread chain remaining in a side of the sewing machine after the first operation of the cutting device. An air injection pipe is provided in a position opposite to an internal bore of a tongue. The air injection pipe blows air toward the internal bore so that the separated thread chain is moved into the internal bore. The separated thread chain is cut by the second operation of the cutting device before or when the separated thread chain drawn into the air suction nozzle is moved into the internal bore by the air from the air injection pipe.

摘要： A woven tape or label having fiber molten parts generated on both side edges thereof is provided with a tape body and two lines of chain stitch, each line of the chain stitch having a large number of loops formed with one sewing thread, and thus each of the fiber molten parts is wrapped in the chain stitch of one sewing thread. The chain stitch prevents the fiber molten parts from projecting when the tape or label is bent and sewn on an article of clothing. If desired, the label can contain shrinkable yarns interwoven partially as weft yarns in portion thereof applicable as one or two bent places at sewing.
