摘要： A sewing system for attaching or re-attaching buttons is provided. Embodiments of the sewing system have a single- or multi-strand thread of one to ten woven threads, the threads having a length of at least one inch with one needle pre-attached, terminating in free strands, an opposing end securement, or two needles attached to opposing ends of the thread. The appearance of a professionally sewn button is provided while eliminating the need to make multiple passes through the button holes and fabric.

摘要： A button restraint system involves a backing clip, an elastic band, and a specialty needle device and further describes a method of use thereof. The needle is used to route and secure the band through a fabric garment and through aperture portions of a button. The band is then secured to the backing clip to hold the button against the fabric. The system obviates the need for a conventional needle and thread to attach the button.

摘要： A hand operated sewing machine with opposing loop seizing points for forming chain stitches. A work feeding plate reciprocates with a plate member about a pivot. A flexible upstanding portion at one end of an arm is biassed by the moving plate member causing the other arm end to bias a cam affixed to the loop seizing points. This bias determines the cam path taken by a drive pin that provides motion to the loop seizing points.

摘要： An automatic buttonhole sizing device for sewing machines which includes a sensing wheel which by resting on the material being sewn, turns as the material is fed and has a rotatable setting ring which programs the size of the buttonhole. Incorporated in the sensing wheel are one fixed and one movable tab for holding any one of many buttons of various sizes therebetween, wherein the size of the button determines the position of the movable tab. The movable tab is so associated with the setting ring of the sensing wheel that when the two tabs are positioned touching opposite sides of a button by rotating the setting ring, the size of the buttonhole is automatically determined from the final positioning of the setting ring.

In one embodiment, the system comprises a device comprising a needle, a hook, a body, and a handle; and a first connector and a second connector. 摘要： An apparatus for winding round the stem of a button is disclosed wherein the drawbacks of the prior invention disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 5,082,151 were settled. Namely, after drawing the winding thread from the bobbin and in the process of the winding operation, if the thread is recoiled and drawn, the tensile force of the thread decreases and during the winding operation maintaining high rotation speed, the thread is frequently cut off, which leads to the frequent interruption of the winding operation. It was very inefficient in the respect of operation and had impractical disadvantage.Such apparatus according to the present invention comprises a bobbin supporting means for interchangeably supporting the bobbin supplying the winding thread so as to rotate on its own axis to the unloosening direction of the thread in accordance with winding and drawing force of the thread, a thread winding means being fixedly mounted on the equal rotation axis to said bobbin supporting means for receiving from the bobbin the winding thread and winding it round the stem of the button while being rotated along with the bobbin in the equal direction and at the equal angular velocity, and a winding rotation means for rotatively mounting on the support the bobbin supporting means and the thread winding means being fixedly mounted on equal rotation axis and rotating it with driving force of a motor.
