摘要： A track welding system includes a welding assembly comprising oxyacetylene torches and a pair of gripping mechanisms. In the use of the system, the torches heat the adjacent ends of a pair of rails, and the gripping mechanism engage the heated ends under sufficient force to form a welded joint between the rails. The gripping mechanisms include vertical and horizontal locating assemblies for aligning the nails prior to heating. The vertical and angular positioning of the gripping mechanisms is adjustable to assure proper orientation of the rails after the welded joint is formed.

摘要： The invention relates to a cleaning device for the dry cleaning of a tunnel, comprising a feeding device for feeding a flow of air to a surface being cleaned, wherein the feeding device has an exit opening, through which the flow of air emerges from the feeding device, and a removal device comprising at least one removal pipe with a free end with an opening for suctioning away direct or trash from the surface with the opening of the free end in a first direction. The feeding device is arranged such that the flow of air from the exit opening emerges from the feeding device in a second direction toward the opening of the free end of the removal pipe and impinges on the surface. The first direction is oriented at an angle between 45° and 80° to the second direction.

摘要： A fan is passively, detachably carried by the grinding head assembly of a railroad track rail grinding machine. The fan plate is oriented above the grinding stone and rotates with the grinding stone during grinding operations. A downward draft of air is induced by the fan to limit the dispersion of sparks, grinding stone residue, and other byproducts of the grinding operation. Water, with or without a surfactant added, can be introduced into the downdraft.

摘要： A machine for welding rails of a track comprises a moving platform on which are mounted at least two frames with uprights pivotably connected to crossbeams. These frames are mounted on ball joints on the platform so as to be capable of swinging in the direction of platform movement, as well as in transverse directions. 摘要： A system for detecting targets and for positioning at least one work module over a particular target to perform a task thereon. The system includes a movable machine having a main frame, a drive mechanism for propelling the machine across a base surface, a sensor associated with the machine for detecting locations of at least one target positioned on said base surface, and an encoder assembly associated with the machine for obtaining motion data. The motion data includes at least one of the displacement and velocity of the machine across the base surface. Also included is a control unit for receiving the target locations from the sensor, for receiving the motion data from the encoder assembly, for determining a target distance for the drive mechanism to propel the machine such that the work module is generally aligned with a particular target in a target area, and for creating a destination signal indicating when the work module is operationally aligned with the target area.
