    摘要: A high-friction road patch may comprise an aggregate capable of providing sufficient friction between a road surface and vehicle wheel. In some embodiments, the patch may comprise a waterproof, asphalt overlay with a first layer of cured bitumen and calcined bauxite aggregate particles, a second layer of viscous bitumen and a reinforcement component, and a binder layer for bonding the overlay with the road surface. The resulting product may provide a sufficient skid resistance value in an overlay that is far less susceptible to or incapable of debonding as with prior art solutions.

    摘要: A linkage brick assembly, comprising: a least one first linkage brick, at least one second linkage brick and at least one third linkage brick, each linkage brick comprising a top face, a bottom face and four side faces between the top face and the bottom face. Each of the side faces of the first linkage brick forms a traverse engaging groove extending laterally. Each of two opposite side faces of the four side faces of the second linkage brick forms a traverse engaging protrusion extending laterally and each of the other two opposite side faces forms a vertical engaging portion extending vertically. Each of the side faces of the third linkage brick forms a vertical engaging groove extending vertically. Each of the traverse engaging grooves of the first linkage brick is used to engage with each of the traverse engaging protrusions of the second linkage brick through lateral sliding. Each of the vertical engaging grooves of the third linkage brick is used to engage with each of the vertical engaging protrusions of the second linkage brick through downward sliding. Assembly of the linkage brick assembly of a large area can be achieved by way of the interlocking of only three types of linkage bricks.

    摘要: A linkage brick assembly, comprising: a least one first linkage brick, at least one second linkage brick and at least one third linkage brick, each linkage brick comprising a top face, a bottom face and four side faces between the top face and the bottom face. Each of the side faces of the first linkage brick forms a traverse engaging groove extending laterally. Each of two opposite side faces of the four side faces of the second linkage brick forms a traverse engaging protrusion extending laterally and each of the other two opposite side faces forms a vertical engaging portion extending vertically. Each of the side faces of the third linkage brick forms a vertical engaging groove extending vertically. Each of the traverse engaging grooves of the first linkage brick is used to engage with each of the traverse engaging protrusions of the second linkage brick through lateral sliding. Each of the vertical engaging grooves of the third linkage brick is used to engage with each of the vertical engaging protrusions of the second linkage brick through downward sliding. Due to the above structures, fast assembly of the linkage brick assembly of a large area can be achieved by means of the interlocking of only three types of linkage bricks.

The plurality of panels of the building system are shaped so as to be mateable when place adjacent to each other. The panels include a bottom and walls that form an interior volume. The bottom and walls of the panels are manufactured from a thermally conductive material such as but not limited to metal. The interior volume of the panels are filled with a lightweight structural material such as but not limited to polyurethane foam or autoclaved concrete. A first temperature source is disposed within the panels and is configured to have a fluid pass therethrough. A second temperature source is present and is a heating element. The panels are operable to utilize either temperature sources.

    摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus for reducing road noise, which includes pipe-shaped bodies each having a hollow formed in the corresponding body to pass through a part of one end and a part of the other end of the body, a fitting groove formed toward an inside of the one end, a shim protruding outward from the other end, and a communication portion formed at a side portion of the body to allow the hollow to communicate with the outside, in which the plurality of bodies is connected to each other. Also, the present invention also provides a method of installing an apparatus for reducing road noise, the method including a buried groove forming step of forming a plurality of buried grooves in a direction in which vehicles travel on a road surface at regular intervals, an arranging step of seating the apparatuses on the buried grooves such that distal ends of the communication portions are lower than the road surface, and seating the plurality of bodies on the buried grooves, respectively, while connecting the bodies to each other, an injecting step of inserting fillers into the buried grooves of the arranging step so that the apparatuses for reducing road noise are buried in the buried grooves, and a hardening step of hardening the fillers.
