摘要: Aspects of the invention are directed to systems and apparatuses for efficiently burning fuels. According to one aspect of the invention, apparatus for efficiently burning hydrocarbons includes a housing having a first opening for receiving a fuel, a second opening for expelling the fuel, and a tubular passageway extending between the first opening and the second opening. The tubular passageway includes a central region and an outer region surrounding the central region. The apparatus also includes a plurality of magnets disposed within the passageway. Each of the magnets has a spherical or an ovoid shape. The plurality of magnets define void spaces for passing the fuel such that a central flow rate of the fuel in the central region of the passageway is equivalent to the an outer flow rate of the fuel in an outer region of the passageway.

摘要: Disclosed are systems, methods, and devices for generating radicals in an air stream at the intake of an internal combustion engine, as well as increasing the thrust of such air streams into the engine. A plasma generator including plasma actuators, dielectric barrier discharge electrodes, or both is positioned in the intake stream. Plasma actuators are disposed on the interior surface of the plasma generator, exposed to the intake stream. Dielectric barrier discharge electrodes protrude into the intake air stream. Plasma, preferably DBD plasma, glow plasma, or filamentary plasma, is generated in the air intake stream, creating radicals in the stream, mixing the radicals in the stream, and reducing drag while increasing thrust of air in the intake stream. A concentric cylinder can be further disposed in the plasma generator, with further plasma actuators, dielectric barrier discharge electrodes, or both, on the interior and exterior surfaces of the cylinder.

摘要: A system for improving efficiency of an internal combustion engine includes an electronic controller generating an RF signal and an electrolysis reactor electrically connected to the electronic controller. The electrolysis reactor includes a plurality of substantially parallel plates arranged in a stack. The plurality of plates includes a central positive plate, a first positive end plate, and a second positive end plate. The plurality of plates also includes a first negative plate located in the stack equidistantly between the central positive plate and the first positive end plate, and a second negative plate located in the stack equidistantly between the central positive plate and the second positive end plate. The plurality of plates further includes a plurality of neutral plates. The system also includes an aqueous solution flowing through the electrolysis reactor, the solution containing an electrolyte.

摘要: A robust apparatus to improve the efficiency and emissions of a combustion process using a plurality of cell elements disposed within a housing that is placed in the air intake to a combustion chamber. The ozone cell includes an element assembly where the cell elements are bonded together with two or more mounting rings. The mounting rings incorporate rubber-like mechanical isolation such as an o-ring between the mounting rings and the cell elements. The cell elements may also include rubber-like isolation between the insulating tubes and the outer electrodes. The robust element assembly as described herein is better suited to survive the harsh environment of the ozone cell place in or near a combustion engine or process.

摘要: An electron generation means for generating electrons includes a rectifier circuit and a booster circuit. AC power from a power supply is passed through the rectifier circuit in advance and then flown to the booster circuit. The rectifier circuit, according to the plus/minus inversion cycle of the said AC power, blocks current flowing toward a second terminal in a state where a first terminal of the rectifier circuit has a positive potential, and current flows from the second terminal only in the state where the first terminal of the rectifier circuit has a negative potential, and thus current flows only in one direction of the alternating current. The booster circuit boosts the voltage on a primary side, and electrons are generated from one terminal on a secondary side of the booster circuit only in a state where the first terminal of the rectifier circuit has a negative potential.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for an engine having a pre-chamber ignition system. In one example, a method may include adjusting a valve coupled between a pre-chamber of an engine cylinder and a main chamber of the engine cylinder between a fully open position and a fully closed position based on whether pre-chamber ignition is desired or direct spark ignition is desired. In this way, the engine may be operated with direct spark ignition during conditions when pre-chamber combustion has reduced stability without including additional spark plugs and air injectors.
