摘要： A positive displacement pump wherein the housing has a thin one-piece plate-like head bolted to the adjacent end of a casing for one or more reciprocable plungers. Each plunger is coaxial (a) with a suction intake valve installed in a larger-diameter portion of a two-part insert in the casing adjacent the head, and (b) with an outlet valve installed in a recess of the head adjacent a second portion of the insert. The second portion of the insert is surrounded by an annular space which communicates with a main suction chamber of the pump to return into the suction chamber any fluid leaking between the two portions of the insert. The second portion has a first seat disposed at one end of an axial channel and forming part of the intake valve, and a second seat disposed at the other axial end of the channel and forming part of the outlet valve. The second seat is disposed at or in the plane of abutment between the head and the casing of the pump housing, and the axial length of the reciprocable valving element of the outlet valve equals or is slightly less than the thickness of the one-piece head. The recess of the head serves to convey pressurized fluid to one or more consumers.

摘要： An apparatus for conveying thick matter is provided including a delivery line, a thick matter pump connected to the delivery line for conveying thick matter from the pump through the delivery line in an output direction, and a restraining member positioned in the delivery line. The restraining member includes a first group of finger lamellae that are radially arranged and have openings therebetween. Each of the finger lamellae of the first group includes an end secured on the inner surface of the delivery line and an unattached end extending diagonally in the output direction and toward the inside of the delivery line. The finger lamella thereby define a pass-through opening therein for enabling flow of thick matter through the restraining member such that the pass-through opening increases in size when thick matter flows in the output direction and decreases in size when there is no flow of thick matter or when thick matter moves in a direction opposite to the output direction. The restraining member also includes a second group of finger lamellae which have openings therebetween and are arranged relative to the finger lamellae of the first group such that the finger lamellae of the second group at least partially cover the openings between the finger lamellae of the first group.

摘要： A diaphragm pump has a first fluid-operated valve which opens when the diaphragm performs a suction stroke and a second fluid-operated valve which opens when the diaphragm performs a compression stroke. The volumetric efficiency of the pump is enhanced by constructing at least one of its valves in such a way that the central portion of a resilient disc-shaped valving element, whose marginal portion bears against a seat when the valve is closed, abuts a supporting surface having a diameter selected in dependency on the diameter of the valving element, the thickness of the valving element and the Shore hardness of the material of the valving element in such a way that the selected frequency of the diaphragm in actual use of the pump induces a resonant frequency of the valving element. This also contributes to a reduction of noise and renders it possible to reduce wear upon the valving element and the adjacent parts of the respective valve.

摘要： The invention provides a fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having a high-pressure chamber, which is intermittently brought to high fuel pressure, and which communicates via a pressure line with an injection point of an engine, and having a pressure valve, inserted into the pressure line. This pressure valve comprises a valve body and a valve seat onto which a valve member is pressed by the force of a valve spring. The valve spring is located in a recess of a pressure valve holder, which communicates with the injection line via an axial conduit. A transitional region leading from the diameter of the axial recess to the diameter of the conduit is embodied with a cone shape or a truncated cone shape.
