    摘要: A two-stage oil free compressor assembly includes a pressure modulation mechanism, which enhances the ambient temperature and altitude capability of the compressor. A selected amount of pressurized fluid is drawn from an output side of a second stage compressor portion and reintroduced into the lower pressure interstage circuit of the assembly, thus raising the interstage pressure. The fluid that flows through the pressure modulation mechanism can be further cooled using the interstage heat exchanger, depending on the needs of a particular situation. A valve in the pressure modulation mechanism is adjusted to control the amount of fluid utilized for pressure modulation. The inventive arrangement permits modulating the pressure ratio of each stage to achieve reasonably balanced discharge temperatures of the first and second stage. The inventive arrangement is particularly useful for situations where the compressor assembly is at a higher altitude, which tends to cause the second stage pressure ratio and discharge temperature to rise undesirably.

    摘要: A multistage piston compressor includes a case and a suction chamber and a discharge chamber provided in the case. A rotary shaft is supported in the case. A valve plate provided in the case includes suction ports and discharge ports. A plurality of bores are provided at predetermined intervals about the axis of the shaft. Pistons are housed in the bores and compress refrigerant by reciprocating in accordance with the rotation of the shaft. An intermediate chamber connects a discharge port with a suction port. The refrigerant is compressed in stages by passing through a plurality of bores via the intermediate chamber. Compression chambers are defined between the pistons and the valve plate. A communication passage is provided for setting the pressures acting on the rear faces of the pistons to an intermediate pressure between the suction pressure and the discharge pressure.

    摘要: In a fuel injection pump, a casing fixed to a housing has a pump room and a filter room mostly separated from but partly communicating with the pump room. A feed pump is constituted by the pump room where a feed pump mechanism is connected to an axial end of the drive shaft. A filter element is accommodated in the filter room. A casing cover easily attachable and detachable to the casing has a fuel inlet port through which fuel is sucked to the filter room and, then, flows via the filter element into the pump room where the fuel is pressurized according to rotation of the drive shaft. Accordingly, foreign material contained in fuel is eliminated before entering the pump room. Further, fuel flow area of the fuel element is larger than that of the fuel inlet port, resulting in less pressure loss of fuel passing through the filter element even if mesh size of filter element is smaller.
