摘要: A method for operating a Coriolis measurement device is provided. The Coriolis measurement device comprises at least one measuring tube for conducting a medium, at least one exciter for exciting measuring tube oscillations, at least one first sensor and at least one second sensor for detecting measuring tube oscillations, an electronic measuring/operating circuit for operating the exciter and for detecting and evaluating measuring signals of the sensors. The method comprises the following steps: checking, in a first method step, whether one of the following variables of the medium: flow velocity or mass flow, exceeds a first threshold value and/or whether a variation of a measuring signal from an average value exceeds a second threshold value, and in a second method step, if the first threshold value and/or the second threshold value is exceeded, increasing an oscillation amplitude of the measuring tube oscillations by a factor E by boosting exciter performance.

摘要: A fluid monitoring system is provided, which includes a control unit and at least one fluid pressure recorder. The recorder is configured for direct connection to a pipeline portion of a system to be monitored and includes upstream and downstream pressure sensors. The control unit is configured to detect, and provide for display or trigger an action, in the event that a new downstream pressure is more than a threshold number of standard deviations above or below a mean downstream pressure determined from prior readings of the downstream pressure—even though neither the minimum nor maximum pressure of the pipeline portion is reached. A fluid monitoring system for a regulator on a pipeline system is also provided.

摘要: A measurement device includes a light emitter, a light receiver, and a computation processor. The light emitter irradiates, with light, a fluid of an irradiation target. The light receiver receives coherent light scattered by the irradiation target and outputs a signal corresponding to an intensity of the coherent light. The computation processor generates a frequency spectrum for a temporal change in a signal strength and calculates, based on the frequency spectrum, a calculation value for a flow state of the fluid flowing in the irradiation target. The computation processor generates a first frequency spectrum with the fluid in a first flow state, generates a second frequency spectrum with the fluid in a second flow state in which the fluid has a flow rate lower than in the first flow state, and calculates a usable frequency range based on a comparison between the first frequency spectrum and the second frequency spectrum.

摘要: A magnetic-inductive flowmeter includes a measuring tube for guiding an electrically conductive medium, a magnetic field device, a magnetic field guiding device, and a control and evaluation unit. The magnetic field device includes at least three coils for generating a magnetic field through the measuring tube. The magnetic field guiding device guides the magnetic field with at least three measuring electrodes for tapping a measurement voltage induced in the medium. The control and evaluation unit generates the magnetic field by energizing the coils and evaluates the measurement voltage. The coils are distributed over a circumference of the magnetic field guiding device, which acts a coil core in a region of the coils, so that the coils are arranged with their coil longitudinal axes in the circumferential direction with respect to the measuring tube. Each of the measuring electrodes is arranged between two coils in the radial direction.

摘要: A method for verifying accurate operation for a flow meter (5) is provided. The method entails receiving a vibrational response from the flow meter (5), wherein the vibrational response comprises a response to a vibration of the flow meter (5) at a substantially resonant frequency. At least one gain decay variable is measured. It is then determined whether the gain decay variable is outside a predetermined range. A filter used in a stiffness calculation is adjusted if the gain decay variable is outside the predetermined range. The ability to detect and/or quantify any changes to the stiffness of the meter assembly in order to maintain a high level of accuracy is an improvement in the field of flow meters.
