摘要: A shuttle valve assembly, comprising a valve housing containing first, second and third ports, and a cavity in the housing, a poppet shiftable in the cavity between a first position and a second position, the poppet in its first position directing flow between the first port and the second port, communication between the second port and third port then being blocked, the poppet in its second position directing flow between the third port and the second port, communication between the second port and first port then being blocked, and a friction responsive holder acting to hold the poppet in its first position until fluid pressure shifts the poppet to its second position, and to hold the poppet in its second position until fluid pressure shifts the poppet to its first position.

摘要: An actuator assembly and method for making and using an actuator assembly. In one embodiment, the assembly includes an actuator body having an actuator channel with a first region and a second region. An actuator is disposed in the actuator channel and is movable when in a flowable state between a first position and a second position. A heater is positioned proximate to the actuator channel to heat the actuator from a solid state to a flowable state. A source of gas or other propellant is positioned proximate to the actuator channel to drive the actuator from the first position to the second position. The actuator has a higher surface tension when engaged with the second region of the channel than when engaged with the first region. Accordingly, the actuator can halt upon reaching the second region of the channel due to the increased surface tension between the actuator and the second region of the channel.

摘要: An actuator assembly and method for making and using an actuator assembly. 摘要: A butterfly valve comprises a valve housing with a valve opening and a valve seat, this valve housing enclosing a vacuum area of the valve; a valve plate which is mounted at a valve rod guided through the valve housing and which is pressed against the valve seat in a closed position of the valve, tilted relative to the valve seat in a partially open position of the valve through tilting of the valve rod about a tilting axis, and tilted and rotated relative to the valve in a completely open position of the valve by subsequent rotation of the valve rod about its longitudinal axis; wherein the valve rod has portions extending on both sides of the tilting axis, the portion located on one side of the tilting axis acting centrally at the valve plate and the portion located on the other side of the tilting axis being connected, via a link guide which is located outside the vacuum area and which has a link with a part extending at an inclination to the longitudinal axis of the valve rod and a helical surface-shaped part and a journal which is guided in the link, to an actuating member which is mounted so as to be displaceable in axial direction of the valve rod.

摘要: The present invention finds application in hydraulically actuated valves, such as gas exchange valves, having a valve member that moves within a valve body between an open position and a closed position. In valves such as these, the valve member typically includes a valve surface that contacts a valve seat included on the valve body when moving to its closed position. However, the impact velocity when the valve surface contacts the valve seat can be quite high. This can lead to fatigue of the valve stem and can wear out the valve seat, both of which can shorten the effective life of the valve. Therefore, the present invention includes a hydraulic pulse generator for slowing movement of the valve member which includes the direction of a hydraulic pulse toward the valve member as the valve member moves from its open position to its closed position.

摘要: Aircraft air control valve apparatus for controlling the flow of pressurized aircraft engine bleed air. The control valve apparatus includes a hollow housing with two end portions with each end portion having an aperture located therein with one end portion being connected to a source of pressurized aircraft engine bleed air. A shut-off valve is located in one end portion of the hollow housing for starting and stopping the flow of pressurized aircraft engine bleed air through the hollow housing and a modulating valve is located in the other end portion of the hollow housing for modulating the flow of pressurized aircraft engine bleed air through the hollow housing. The shut-off valve and the modulating valve are operated by the use of pressurized aircraft engine bleed air.

摘要: A novel gas control module switch mechanism includes a diaphragm means, a valve body, a piston means and a fastening means. The diaphragm means has a plurality of diaphragms and a seal plate sandwiched between a first and a second diaphragm. The first diaphragm has a center opening to prevent the first diaphragm from making direct sealing contact. Sealing is done through the seal plate. The seal plate is made of a soft material for obtaining improved sealing effect and longer durability. The valve body has a bulged ring around an opening plane and a bulged body ring for enhancing sealing effect when the seal plate making contact with the bulged ring.
