    摘要: An ultralow expansion brake rubber hose comprising an inner rubber tube, a first reinforcing layer, a second reinforcing layer and an outer rubber layer, wherein a thermosetting resin which penetrates the reinforcing fibers constituting the first reinforcing layer and which is cured at vulcanizing temperatures is cured by vulcanization to turn the first reinforcing layer into a solid cured layer. By turning the first reinforcing layer into the solid cured layer, the mutual slippage between the reinforcing fibers of the first reinforcing layer can be prevented, and a brake rubber hose having low expansion and excellent durability can be obtained. The rubber hose can be produced by carrying out the continuous steps of braiding a first reinforcing layer around an inner rubber tube, immersing the first reinforcing layer in a thermosetting resin solution capable of penetrating the reinforcing fibers constituting the first reinforcing layer and having low viscosity to cause the thermosetting resin solution to penetrate the reinforcing fibers, braiding a second reinforcing layer, and extruding an outer rubber tube on the external surface of the second reinforcing layer.

    摘要: A low permeable hose having at least a refrigerant barrier layer and a rubber layer is provided. The barrier layer is a laminate film having a structure such that resin layers sandwich a metal layer therebetween and having an elongation at breakage of 10% or more. The outermost layer of the resin layer may be an adhesive layer composed of a phenol resin based composition. The hose can be produced by heating the refrigerant barrier layer and the rubber layer to a temperature no lower than the melting point of a resin that constitutes the resin layers to melt the resin and vulcanizing said rubber layer, or, laminating an adhesive layer composed of a phenol resin based composition and the rubber layer, thereby splicing the refrigerant barrier layer and the rubber layer.

The support bead is free of joints or bonding lines extending between the lumen(s) and ambient so that the lumen is free of unintended fluid communication between the lumen and ambient, and the lumen is capable of transporting or containing gaseous or fluid materials without leakage. The support bead may encapsulate an electrical conductor, which may be a heating wire for the purpose of providing a heat source to fluid flow in the central passage of the tubing product. Alternatively, the electrical conductor may be an energy or signal conducting element suited for sensing purposes or data transmission along a length of the tubing, for example. A lumen termination fitting may connect to the tubing. Apparatus and methods for making the tubing product are also disclosed.

The hose includes a generally circular woven inner jacket reinforcement layer; an extruded inner tubing bonded to the inner surface of the inner jacket; a circular woven outer jacket reinforcement layer; and an intermediate tubing bonded to the inner surface of the outer jacket and located between the inner and outer jackets. The intermediate tubing adds thickness to the overall wall of the hose, and stiffens the outer jacket sufficiently so that it resists kinking.

    摘要: A steel strip laminate pipe having increased lap shear strength and peel off strength between the steel layers in the pipe and a method for making such a steel strip pipe are provided. Steel strips coated with a sol-gel or a silane adhesion promoter are wound over an inner lining to form steel layers bonded to each other in a steel strip laminate pipe. In an alternate embodiment, fiber fillers and resin are used to bond the steel layers in the pipe together. In further embodiment, glass sphere and resin are used to bond the steel layers together. The steel strips bonded together using continuous reinforced fiber filler or glass spheres may be coated with sol-gel or silane. In an alternate embodiment, the sol-gel or silane may also be mixed in the resin used to bond the steel layers together.
