摘要: Condensation or “rain-out” is a problem in medical circuits and previous attempts to manage and/or prevent rain-out have resulted in relatively expensive and/or difficult to manufacture medical circuit components. The subject patent provides an improved medical circuit component for managing rain-out. In particular the component may be an improved breathing tube, or insufflation system limb comprising a helically corrugated tube preferably incorporating a heater wire.

摘要: A flexible porous non-pollutive tube, wherein the walls of the tube are made by tapes formed by interlaced textile fibers, and to which activated charcoal is added, in agglomerate, powder or granulated form, and the textile tapes being wound over the charcoal and glued among the charcoal in the helical direction, forming an air conducting acoustic flexible helical pipe which is a part of a combustion engine's intake system used by the automobile industry, and adding the activated charcoal in the walls or in the pipe's external or internal lining.

At least one protuberance integral with the pipe body and having a protuberance sidewall extends radially outward from a modified annular rib to an apex positioned outwardly from the modified annular rib, the protuberance sidewall extends into the valleys immediately adjacent the modified annular rib.

摘要: A flexible hose liner is provided having a cylindrical body extending along a longitudinal axis from as first end to a second end. First and second sleeves form the cylindrical body by separate continuous ribbons having a plurality of convolutions formed in a helical pattern along the cylindrical body from the first end to the second end. A ring is formed in each revolution about the longitudinal axis of the continuous ribbon of the first and second sleeves. A plurality of rings form the cylindrical body, each ring has a first convolution and an ending convolution such that a mechanical connection is formed between the ending convolution of a preceding ring and the first convolution of a succeeding ring. The mechanical connection of the between the rings of the first sleeve being different from the mechanical connection of the rings of the second sleeve.

摘要: The liner includes a rib formation with a transverse section configured to mechanically lock the liner to a concrete shell and a joint to allow the rib formation to flex. The joint for the rib formation can comprise a first side spaced apart from a second side with each joined to the transverse section to allow each side to flex with respect to each other. The space between the first side and the second side can be filled with a weld material to add rigidity to the rib formation while allowing it to flex. Each of the first side and the second side can be combined at the other end to a shell. The combined rib formation and shell are spirally wound to create the liner.

摘要: An expandable hose is provided formed of a sidewall formed of a spirally wound flexible member which defines an axial passageway surrounding a center axis of the formed hose. Both side edges of the flexible member in the spirally wound position are engaged with a cap member which provides a skeletal structure to maintain the axial passageway open and to bias the hose back to a collapsed length from the extended length. A fold formed in the spirally wound flexible member allows for increased distance between the two side edges and an increased maximum extended length. A telescopic pole engaged with the formed hose provides an improved extendable vacuuming tool.
