    摘要: A piston assembly is for a fluid delivery device, preferably a lubricant injector, the injector having a measuring chamber defined by an inner cylindrical surface and an axial end face, a flow port through the end face, and a central axis extending through the chamber. The piston assembly includes a piston body disposeable within the chamber so as to be linearly displaceable along the central axis. The piston body includes a cylindrical head, the head having first and second axial ends and an outer circumferential surface, and a rod extending axially from the second axial end of the piston head. A seal is coupled with the first axial end of the piston head and has an annular lip sealingly engageable with the chamber inner cylindrical surface and an axial end engageable with the chamber end face.

    摘要: A lubricant additive dispensing apparatus comprising a tubular housing extending between a fluid supply side and a fluid discharge side, wherein each side is sealed by a respective end wall. A volume of fluid additive is stored within a fluid additive storage cavity formed within the tubular housing. Fluid enters the lubricant additive dispensing apparatus, wherein a first portion of the fluid passes therethrough and a second portion of the fluid is directed towards a piston cap attached to a compression spring. The second fluid portion applies a compression force to the piston, interacting with the generated expansion force of the spring to cause the piston cap to oscillate. The piston cap is in communication with the fluid additive, applying an oscillating pressure thereto, causing a controlled volumetric rate of dispensing of the additive into the fluid.

The press has a press drive that is connected with a ram of the press, which ram can be moved via a transmission in a working direction (Z). The transmission has at least one sliding bearing with one and, preferably, several lubricating points. In a first press operating state, all the lubricating points of the sliding bearing are supplied with lubricant at a first lubricant pressure (p1). In a second press operating state, the thickness of the lubricant film formed in the sliding bearing drops below a minimum value in the region of at least one first lubricating point and lubricant is supplied thereto at a second greater lubricating pressure (p2) in order to prevent increased wear of the sliding bearing.
