摘要： A vehicular head lamp enables rotation of an upper reflector (1) relative to an intermediate reflector (2), thereby changing a dispersed light-distribution pattern (WP) with respect to a fixed reference light-distribution pattern (LP and HP). By causing a lower reflector (3) to rotate relative to the intermediate reflector (2), a collimated light-distribution pattern (SP) is changed with respect to the reference light-distribution patterns (LP and HP). The result of this arrangement is an improvement in visibility when the vehicle negotiates a curve.

摘要： A recessed downlight wall wash reflector assembly and method of installing the same. The reflector assembly is installable from below the plane of a ceiling into a standard mounting frame for a recessed downlight reflector having a similarly sized light exit aperture. In the preferred embodiment configured for use as a single wall washer, the reflector assembly has a downlight reflector, a window cutout in the wall of the downlight reflector and a resilient wall wash reflector attached to the reflector assembly such that it is positioned behind the window cutout. The resilient wall wash reflector has flexible sides which flex inward, allowing the reflector assembly to fit through the mounting frame opening during installation. Once the assembly has cleared the frame opening, the flexible sides return to their original shape. In an embodiment preferred for use as a comer or double (parallel) wall washer, the reflector assembly has a yoke assembly having a top plate and a leg extending between the top plate and the mounting frame. The yoke assembly may be installed through the mounting frame opening and secured to the mounting frame from below the ceiling. Wall wash reflectors may then be installed through the opening and attached to the yoke assembly. Lastly, a downlight reflector with window cutouts may be installed through the opening and attached to the yoke assembly such that the window cutouts are positioned in front of the wall wash reflectors.

摘要： A headlamp adjuster configured for engagement with a reflector of a headlamp assembly. The headlamp adjuster includes a U-shaped structure which is engaged with a screw and which is engageable with the reflector. The screw is prevented from translating substantially upon rotation, but the headlamp adjuster is configured such that rotation of the screw causes the U-shaped structure to translate thereby moving the reflector. The screw includes an externally threaded shaft portion which is threadably engaged with an internally threaded bore of the U-shaped structure. The U-shaped structure may be a single piece which is engaged with the screw and is engageable with the reflector, or may include a U-shaped member which is engaged with the screw and a slide member, where the slide member is engageable with the reflector.

The position of the beam-shaping blade or blades, and preferably of all the light beam influencing elements, is adjustable relative to the longitudinal axis. The fixture produces a well-defined light beam or light cone with a geometry, angle of conicity and focal point that may be altered manually or by remote control.

摘要： A discharge lamp and a headlight for a motor vehicle are proposed. A moving member is provided, which is movable between at least two positions, for switching over between different light distributions. It comprises at least one optically active element, preferably a lens, which generates an image of the gas discharge which is shifted away from the actual location thereof. A switch-over between two different light distributions is made possible by a movement of the moving member between the two positions in the headlight, such that the gas discharge seems to be shifted by the switch-over for a respective region of the reflector, whereby different light distributions are created. Preferably, the moving member is the outer bulb of the discharge lamp, on which two lenses are arranged and which is rotatable about the optical axis.

A hookup connector which is provided with a connection portion connected to a power side connector provided on a power cord connected to a vehicle power source at one end thereof and a connection portion connected to the light source side connector and the actuator side connector at the other end thereof is mounted in a hole formed in the lamp body. The hookup connector has a flange which covers the periphery of the opening.
