The power supply and control circuit are configured to connect to a power source, with the switch operative to selectively energize both the lower and upper LED light sources.

摘要: A lighting device has a power interface and a control circuit in communication with a program and the LEDs to simulate a flame. The program determines a first group of LED control integers to simulate a perpetual middle with a perpetual middle center and a perpetual middle range within which one or more of the LEDs are to be at least partially actuated. At least one LED is actuated based on the first group of LED control integers. A first target for simulating movement of the perpetual middle center toward the first target and a first acceleration value is defined. The program determines a second group of LED control integers based on the first target and the first acceleration value such that the perpetual middle center becomes closer to the first target. One or more of the LEDs is actuated based on the second group of LED control integers.

摘要: An illumination appliance includes an illumination device, a controller, and a wiring system. The illumination device includes a plurality of interconnected hollow struts, a plurality of semi-reflective sheets, and a plurality of banks of light emitting devices (LEDs). The plurality of interconnected hollow struts collectively define a polygonal body such as a cube with openings. The plurality of interconnected hollow struts individually have an inward facing surface. The plurality of semi-reflective sheets close the openings to define an enclosure within the polygonal body. The plurality of banks of LEDs are mounted on the inward facing surfaces. Some of the light emitted by the LEDs is internally reflected and some is transmitted by the semi-reflective sheets. The controller is for controlling operation of the banks of LEDs. The wiring system electrically couples the controller to the LEDs and routes through the hollow struts to individually connect to the banks of LEDs.

Each first light source has a respective first emission orientation in a respective first direction away from the reflector and each second light source has a respective second emission orientation to issue light towards the reflector, which light, after reflection, is redirected into a respective first direction. The lighting device is able to provide accent lighting and/or diffuse lighting issued by light sources arranged on one planar carrier.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for designing light fixtures for flexible LED circuit boards. The flexible LED circuit boards include an array of LED packages and the surface of the flexible circuit boards is highly reflective. A flexible LED circuit board may be shaped to conform to a rigid preform and the preform may be concave, convex, corrugated, or have any other custom shape. The shape of the preform, as well as the location of the LEDs within the flexible LED circuit may determine the light distribution of the light fixture. Alternatively, the lighting fixture may have multiple rods held in place with side plates and a flexible LED circuit board may be woven between the rods. A set of hole patterns in the side plates determine the location of the rods and the rods will determine the shape of the flexible LED circuit.
