In one embodiment, a separate infeed belt is curved in the same direction and radius as the collapsible belt for loading the products at equally spaced intervals thereon. In another embodiment, the products in each path are deposited at intervals determined as a function of belt speed, load density and the ratio of the radius of each path to the radius at the periphery of the collapsible belt in the processor.

    摘要: In a heat treatment furnace with a circular charge conveyor system, bar-shaped charge support elements are provided and said support elements are mobile with respect to each other both in a vertical direction and in the direction of charge travel. Said support elements are arranged substantially in a radial direction and/or in a circle or in sectors of a circle. Several such charge support elements arranged radially are preferably assembled to form fork-type elements. Said support elements may also be arranged in a plurality of vertical planes to form a continuous or a discontinuous helical-type charge conveyor system. The present invention increases throughput, if compared with a conventional furnace of the same size, reduces energy requirements and thus improves conventional pusher-type furnaces for heat treatment in a controlled atmosphere.

    摘要: A spiral track oven has a heated spiral track on which semiconductor chip bases move. A jarring motion about the central axis of the track supplies inertia to the bases, moving them down the track. A blanket-like laminated heater on the inside of the track supplies heat to the bases. Excess heat is vented by positive airflow out a vent. A perforated screen-like shroud wrapped around the outside of the track keeps the bases from falling off the track while allowing excess heat to escape. A pneumatic or hydraulic drive shaft extends through a table to the base of the oven where it is mounted. The drive and driveshaft turn the oven back and forth about a central shaft gently in one direction and in a jarring motion in the other, thereby supplying inertia to the bases.

    摘要: The application discloses an apparatus in which newly manufactured empty cans are prepared for filling with foodstuffs or beverages. The cans are sequentially washed, rinsed, treated, again rinsed, and finally dried, and if desired, subsequently coated and cured. The cans are individually transported through the apparatus by means of carriers which move them in a spiral path, while they are loosely retained in said carriers. A series of spray nozzles discharge against the cylindrical surfaces of the can. Another series of spray nozzles discharge upwardly into the interior of the can body to treat the inner surfaces thereof, and to slightly lift the can bodies so they are free to rotate by virtue of contact with a rail member while being advanced at right angles to their axes.
