摘要: The present invention relates to an accelerator pedal for a motor vehicle, especially one with an automatic gearbox. The pedal includes a pedal arm which in one end area thereof is pivotally mounted about a pivoting axis and which in the other end thereof is provided with a pedal plate which can be impinged upon the force by the driver. When force is exerted upon the pedal plate, the pedal arm can be pivoted into an absolute final position when a kick down switch is actuated, wherein a signal can be produced by the kick down switch and can be fed to a control electronics system. The kick down switch comprises a permanent magnet, the magnet force thereof being used to retain a magnetically conducting component on a magnetic return element whereby the component can be moved away from the magnetic return element as a result of the movement of the pedal arm into an end position.

摘要: A system includes a navigation device and a processor in communication with the navigation device and an output. The processor is configured to receive a plurality of POIs. The processor is also configured to search for at least a first of the POIs in first proximity to a route in the navigation device. Further, the processor is configured to, subsequent to the search for a first POI in first proximity, for each instance of the first POI in first proximity to the route, search for at least a second of the POIs in second proximity to the first POI. The processor is also configured to output any instances wherein each of the POIs are found to be in second proximity to at least one of the other POIs of the plurality of POIs.

摘要: A method, system and computer program product for allocating parking spaces for vehicles in a parking area. In one embodiment, the invention provides a system comprising a sensor system for generating output representing measurements of vehicles in the parking area, a marking system for identifying parking spaces in the parking area, and a controller for calculating parking spaces for vehicles. The controller obtains defined measurements for the vehicles in the parking area, and calculates for each of the vehicles, a respective one parking space in the parking area. Embodiments of the invention dynamically allocate parking spaces based on: (1) Determining the minimum space that should be enough for the size of the car that is being currently identified for parking; and (2) Maximizing utilization of space by preventing improper fragmentation, where because of allocating fixed size spaces to all cars, big/small/medium, fragments of space would be wasted.

摘要: Balances having a reference mass and means for compensating for thermally induced errors such as shift of the zero-point and change of steepness in the characteristic of the balance. Bimetallic members are fastened to movable parts such as levers or other force transmitting members, or to the reference mass, and function as supports for masses acting as compensating masses. This allows for offsetting the two kinds of errors independently. Moreover, the bimetallic supports can be mounted on adjustable members, e.g. rotary disks or the like, to further adjust the desired amount of correction.

摘要: A temperature-compensated balance comprising a balance pan coupled by motion-transmitting members to a mass providing a counter-moment to a weight placed on the balance pan. A first bimetal strip is coupled between the frame of the balance and the balance pan to provide a zero point temperature compensation substantially independent of the load on the balance pan. A second bimetal strip, having its axis substantially perpendicular to that of the first bimetal strip, is provided to compensate for the steepness of the characteristic of the balance.
