摘要: A method for processing signals of active sensor systems including processing an emitted signal to include at least one distinguishing feature, the emitted signal emitted by an active sensor system adapted to intercept a reflection of the emitted signal, and to analyze the reflection of the emitted signal for determining at least one parameter of at least one object located in a space, analyzing an intercepted portion to verify the at least one distinguishing feature in the intercepted portion, and processing the intercepted portion as the reflection of the emitted signal when the at least one distinguishing feature is verified.

摘要: A reception unit receives, with an ultrasonic sensor, received signals including a reflected wave obtained when an acoustic signal emitted from a mobile body is reflected by an object. A disturbance judgment unit judges whether a jamming attack in which a jamming signal is transmitted from outside is being made, on the basis of the received signals. An object detection unit detects an object in surroundings of the mobile body on the basis of the received signals if it is judged that no attack is being made and does not perform object detection if it is judged that an attack is being made.

摘要: A system for inspecting an acoustic treatment applied to the hull of a maritime vessel includes an underwater inspection system including at least one signal emitter configured to emit a signal, at least one receiver configured to receive the signal after the signal has come into contact with the acoustic treatment applied to the hull of the maritime vessel, wherein the signal provides information about the integrity of the acoustic treatment and a processor configured to perform signal processing on the received signal and generate an output comprising information about one or more parameters of the acoustic treatment. The inspection system thereby allows for in-water inspection of acoustic treatments applied to a maritime vessel thus avoiding the need for a costly and time-consuming inspection of such a vessel while in dry-dock.

摘要: An active sensing system includes an agent and at least one sensor operatively associated with the agent. The at least one sensor includes one or more emitters configured and disposed to establish a sensing zone. A conflict identification module is configured and disposed to identify one or more sensor conflict regions, and an active sensor controller is operatively connected to the at least one sensor and the conflict identification module. The active sensor controller is configured and disposed to form an adjustment zone within the sensing zone to accommodate the one or more sensor conflict regions.

摘要: A system and method for optimizing transmission of radio frequency communication link signals in a radio frequency communications network comprises determining a statistical difference between a mean radio frequency communication link propagation loss value based on a set of measured radio frequency communication link propagation loss values, and a radio frequency communication link propagation loss model value; calculating a signal to noise ratio of a radio frequency communication link signal; computing a confidence interval based on a measured signal to noise threshold ratio of a measured radio frequency communication link signal, and a standard deviation associated with the calculated signal to noise ratio; assigning a probability value based on the confidence interval; and generating a radio frequency communication link packet completion rate performance level based on the probability value. The transmission of radio frequency communication link signals occurs in either jamming or no jamming situations.
