摘要: A sensor device for detecting at least one contact event on a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, with at least one impact sound sensor for detecting at least one impact sound signal. At least one impact sound sensor has at least one signal-transferring connection to at least one signal processing means already existing in the vehicle and associated with at least one other sensor means. With this arrangement, at least one impact sound sensor has an impact-sound-transmitting connection to a section of the outer shell of the vehicle. This allows contact events on the vehicle to be detected.

摘要: There is provided a system for detecting a drowning person within a water body, the system comprising (i) sonar sensors for forming a three dimensional grid of sonar waves within the water body, the grid having three dimensional grid cells; (ii) a movement path tracing unit adapted to be connected to the sonar sensors for tracing a movement path of a person within the water body by determining a sequence of successive grid cells crossed by the person within the grid in the course of said movement path, the determination of the successive grid cells being made based on detected propagation delays of the sonar waves forming the grid; and (iii) a drowning detection unit adapted to be connected to the movement path tracing unit for analyzing the movement path of the person and issuing an alarm when the movement path of the person is indicative of a drowning person movement path. There is also provided a kit and method for detecting a drowning person within a water body.

摘要: A sonar mapping system that includes a sonar transducer assembly configured for mounting on a watercraft, and a display configured to show a topographical chart of a body of water. The sonar mapping system further includes a processor coupled to the sonar transducer assembly and display. The processor is configured to create the topographical chart in real time, and to update the topographical chart in real time, based on sonar data provided by the sonar transducer assembly. The processor is configured to render the created or updated topographical chart on the display. The sonar mapping system has memory accessible by the processor and configured to store the topographical chart rendered by the processor, and to store the sonar data provided by the sonar transducer assembly. The sonar data includes information indicative of vegetation present on a lakebed, seabed, or riverbed surface, the information being displayed on the topographical chart.

摘要: A configuration system for identifying a target configuration of agents for acquiring data is provided. In some embodiments, the configuration system generates sample configurations, each of which has a location within the space for each agent. The configuration system selects as the target configuration a sample configuration that is suitable to acquire data. The configuration system selects the target configuration by, for at least one or more sample configurations, directing that the agents assume the sample configuration and then acquire data when in the sample configuration. The configuration system then stores, for each sample configuration, an indication of suitability for acquiring data based on the sample configuration. The configuration system selects a sample configuration that is deemed to be suitable as the target configuration.
