The computer then generates a locomotive itinerary, tracks the location of the locomotive and uses the comparator algorithm to determine the schedule status of the railcar.

    摘要: A method and associated device and management system for automatically guiding an aircraft to a parking position in a parking zone. The aircraft is detected by at least one video camera located in the parking zone which outputs video signals. The video signals are then supplied from the video camera to an evaluation unit, in which the current position of the aircraft is determined from the video signals. In addition, correction instructions for direction and speed of the aircraft are determined from the video signals in the evaluation unit. The correction instructions are transmitted to a control of the aircraft. Furthermore, in the evaluation unit, the video signals are processed into video sequences and non-aircraft objects are identified from the video signals. Finally, the correction instructions and the video sequences are displayed on a control monitor together with additional monitoring data.

    摘要: A structured singular value (&mgr;) analysis method of computing flutter margins has robust stability of a linear aeroelastic model with uncertainty operators (&Dgr;). Flight data is used to update the uncertainty operators to accurately account for errors in the computed model and the observed range of aircraft dynamics of the aircraft under test caused by time-varying aircraft parameters, nonlinearities, and flight anomalies, such as test nonrepeatability. This &mgr;-based approach computes predict flutter margins that are worst-case with respect to the modeling uncertainty for use in determining when the aircraft is approaching a flutter condition and defining an expanded safe flight envelope for the aircraft that is accepted with more confidence than traditional methods that do not update the analysis algorithm with flight data by introducing &mgr; as a flutter margin parameter that presents several advantages over tracking damping trends as a measure of a tendency to instability from available flight data.

Each of the transistors is made up of a plurality of transistor cells connected in parallel. A part of the transistor cells is utilized as a check transistor, which allows a small current incapable of igniting the squib to flow into the squib. The diagnosing apparatus turns on only the check transistor and detects a potential of the squib. Check transistor malfunction can be diagnosed on the basis of the detected potential. Because the check transistor is formed by a part of the transistor cells, if any trouble occurs therein, it can be considered that the power transistor formed by the remainder of the transistor cells also has any trouble. Therefore, the power transistor can be diagnosed from the detected potential of the squib.

If the aircraft's current projected flight path is such that the aircraft is expected to be within the approach volume and stay within the approach volume to the runway, then inhibiting selected alerts and warnings associated with non-threatening terrain.
