摘要： An article dispensing apparatus includes: one article discharging apparatus; and another article discharging apparatus, the one article discharging apparatus and the other article discharging apparatus being capable of being combined in a back-to-back manner. The one article discharging apparatus includes: a driving source; an output gear configured to rotate by a driving force from the driving source when a discharging instruction has been given to the one article discharging apparatus; link levers where each link lever is provided rotatably about an axis of the link lever; and a controller configured to, when the output gear is rotated from the standby position by the discharging instruction, prohibit stopping of drive of the driving source to allow the rotation of the output gear until a preset prohibited time elapses from starting of the rotation of the output gear even when supply of electric power to the driving source is interrupted.

A first drive mechanism is provided to rotate an assembly of the plates so that a selected column of conveyors is in alignment with the receiving area and, for each plate, a second drive mechanism is provided to operate the conveyor that is in the transferring orientation so that an article, or prize, on the conveyor is transferred to the receiving area.

摘要： A stand-alone drug dispensing system suitable for a nursing station at a health care facility is described. A microprocessor controlled secure system makes it particularly suitable for dispensing narcotics and other controlled substances. The system comprises a cylinder having a plurality of stacked carrousels, each having plurality of drug slots. Each carousel holds a different drug and it is the rotation of these carrousels over a hole or chute that runs the entire length of the cylinder that allows the dispensing of a particular drug under the control of a programmed microprocessor. The system provides accurate accounting as well as advisory information about the drug being dispensed. A plurality of peripherals such as a Video Display Terminal, an alphanumeric printer, and an alphanumeric keyboard are integrated into the system. Also included are an alarm system, a back up power source and a slot for returning unused drugs.

摘要： An improved shelf configuration for a spiral vending machine is embodied in a novel support apparatus for rotatably supporting the forward or discharge end of a helical coil used to dispense packaged food products or the like from the machine. The support apparatus comprises a first elongated coil support member transversely spaced from and parallel to a second elongated coil support member. The coil support members each define a ramp at one end respectively thereof upwardly inclined between the shelf surface on which the food products to be dispensed rest and an upper planar surface disposed above the shelf surface. The coil support members each terminate at coplanar second ends which are connected together by means of a downwardly inclined ramp. One of the coil support members adjacent the downwardly inclined ramp has a beveled inner edge portion to allow at least some products moved by the coil to be oriented in a transversely tilted position immediately before dispensing. The coil support members are transversely spaced apart at a sufficient distance so as to cause the front portion of the dispensing coil to be supported by the upper planar surfaces of the coil support members, at a position spaced above the shelf surface.

摘要： An earplug dispenser is provided which dispenses earplugs directly into a user's hand upon turning of a knob in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The earplug dispenser is designed for quick and efficient replacement of an empty container with a container full of earplugs. The internal delivery components are particularly designed to prevent earplug jamming or sticking and aid in the quick delivery of a desired number of earplugs directly into the user's hand. The design also allows the earplugs to be delivered without relying on a separate opening or port apart from the impeller thereby eliminating the need to use two hands to deliver or dispense the desired earplugs.
