摘要: A shield-carried noncontact frequency-domain electrical real-time advanced detection system and method are provided. Noncontact electrodes are installed on a cutter head of a shield tunneling machine, current is emitted and received using capacitance coupling, the electrodes are connected to a host via a multi-way swivel joint, measured data is inversed and interpreted in real time, and the prediction result is transmitted to a control system of the shield tunneling machine so as to provide a technical support for safety construction of the shield tunneling machine; the noncontact electrodes are installed on the shield cutter head. Real-time advanced detection of geology in front of a tunnel face can be realized in the tunneling process, so that the requirement for quick tunneling construction is met, and the efficiency of advanced geological detection of the shield tunneling machine is improved; and an electrode system is only installed on the cutter head.

摘要: A telemetry system for a surface maintenance machine such as a scrubber or a sweeper has a plurality of sensors which monitor machine operating conditions. The sensors are periodically scanned and repetitive outputs indicative of sensor condition are used to provide tone coded telemetry signals. The tone coded signals are modulated on a suitable carrier frequency and are sent to a receiver which is remote from the sensors. The receiver decodes the tone coded signals to provide a display of the conditions being monitored by the sensors. The tone coded outputs from the transmitter also include an identification of the particular machine which is providing information for the display at the receiver.

摘要: The present invention provides a medical sensor for detecting a blood characteristic. The sensor includes a transducer for producing an analog signal related to the blood characteristic. The analog signal is converted into a transmission signal which is in amplitude-independent form for transmission to a remote analyzer. In one embodiment, a current-to-frequency converter converts a signal from a pulse oximeter sensor into a frequency signal which can be transmitted over a transmission line to a remote pulse oximeter.

摘要: The system enables data from analogue state sensors S1 to S16, four of which may be direct frequency sensors, located in a ZONE 0 (1) environment, to be transmitted by a master transmitter 10 via a fibre optic data link 16 to a master receiver 14. The master receiver is located in a safe environment. The master transmitter comprises a power restrictor unit 18 which has for each data channel a power supply and also a power supply for the printed circuit-board (pcb) of the master transmitter. The master transmitter is located in a ZONE 1 environment. The analogue or state data are voltages which are converted by voltage-to-frequency converters mounted on the pcb and passed to the multiplexer of the master transmitter. The multiplexer feeds the fibre optic link and a demultiplexer at the master receiver reproduces the frequencies. The master receiver re-converts the frequencies to voltage signals.

摘要: A control device for a meter device, particularly a water meter device, includes a first data interface for a meter unit measuring a flow of a fluid of the meter device, a second data interface for a reading device communicating with the meter unit through the control device, and a supply interface receiving a combined clock and voltage supply signal for the control device. The control device can assume a read mode in which data at the first data interface can be transmitted by the control device to the second data interface upon receiving a clock and voltage supply signal having a read signal variation. The control device can additionally assume a write mode in which data at the second data interface can be transmitted to the first data interface upon receiving a clock and voltage supply signal with a write signal variation different from the read signal variation.
