摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided in which power control relay switches may be configured to switch at or near a predetermined time during an AC cycle and/or that are configured to control a velocity of an armature of the relay switch during switching. An input power source may provide alternating current (AC) power and a voltage or current level of the AC power may be sensed. A relay controller may switch the relay switch based on a time at which the voltage or current is at or near a zero-crossing. The relay controller may be configured to close the relay switch based on when a voltage of the power input is at a zero-crossing, and is configured to open the relay switch based on when a current of the power input is at a zero-crossing.

摘要: A device is disclosed for transmission of forces on a moving contact connecting bolt of a contact system including a switching unit with a moving contact and a further contact. The device includes an at least partially flexible conductor element for electrical connection of the moving contact connecting bolt to a connection of the switching unit and at least one first branch and a second branch. The branches are arranged for reciprocal current flow to generate an electromagnetic force. The invention the second branch is guided along and retained on a support plate firmly connected to the moving contact connecting bolt such that an electromagnetic force occurring in a short-circuit is introduceable between the first branch and the second branch for increasing a contact pressure exerted by a contact pressure spring in the moving contact connecting bolt, the support plate being slidably movable in the housing of the switching unit.

摘要: There is provided a power supply circuit, in which cost reduction is realized by reducing the number of electric wires. An inverter 3 and a motor 4 are supplied with power by a high-voltage battery 21. Relays 22a to 22c are provided between the high-voltage battery 21 and the inverter 3. Both ends of each of relay coils C provided to the relays 22a to 22c are connected to an ECU 5, and the ECU 5 controls a current flowing through the relay coils C and thereby controls the turning on and off of the relays 22a to 22c. A service plug 6 is detachably provided between batteries making up the high-voltage battery 21, and when the service plug 6 is detached, the supply of power from the high-voltage battery 21 to the inverter 3 and the motor 4 is blocked and when the service plug 6 is attached, the supply of power from the high-voltage battery 21 to the inverter 3 and the motor 4 is enabled. An interlock switch 7 is turned off when the service plug 6 is detached, is turned on when the service plug 6 is attached, and is connected between the ECU 5 and the relay coils C.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an electro-magnetic contactor and an electro-magnetic contactor monitoring system. The present disclosure may sense and display the status of input power that supplies electric energy to a power input end of the electro-magnetic contactor in real time, and when a failure occurs to generate a low voltage or over voltage, it may be sensed in real time to notify it to a user or the like, thereby allowing the user to monitor the status from a remote location. According to the present disclosure, it may be possible to prevent a load from being damaged by a fire due to a phenomenon of chattering in the electro-magnetic contactor, and eradicating a phenomenon that a coil of the contactor is damaged by a fire due to the over voltage, and minimizing losses that can be caused in a factory management system.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for controlling energy consumption in a system having a battery and including a controller and one or more solenoids. In accordance with the disclosure, the controller provides a controlling mechanism, such as a control algorithm, that will provide the necessary power to operate the one or more solenoids throughout the range of battery voltage in a manner that optimizes the voltage discharge from the battery and simultaneously maximizes battery life. Further power conservation measures are implemented by using a controller and an associated control algorithm to operate a solenoid throughout the range of battery voltage in a manner that places the discharge of the battery in reduced power consumption operating modes as the capacity of the battery is reduced.

摘要: A system is provided that effectively obviates shortcomings of conventional, diode-ORed, redundant power supply systems by forcing a primary power source to provide power to the system load most the time, even when the primary source provides a lower voltage than that of a secondary power source. This preferential selection of the lower-voltage primary is achieved by interposing a power switching unit between the secondary power source and the ORing diode in front of the load. The power switching unit of the illustrative embodiment comprises a voltage regulator that is regulated at a first voltage level, which is lower than the nominal output voltage level provided by the primary power source. Meanwhile, the primary power source is able to charge the secondary power source, which is a battery in the illustrative embodiment, so that the secondary power source can provide power to the load when the primary power source is either interrupted or falls below the first voltage level.

摘要: A switching device for controlling the supply of power from a supply to a load comprises a solid-state switch arranged in parallel with a relay of normally closed type. The solid-state switch and the relay are arranged in series with the load and the power supply. The switch also comprises a control adapted to connect the power supply to the load by applying an activation signal to the solid-state switch to cause it to conduce, then de-energizing the relay and then removing the activation signal to the solid-state switch in that order. The control is also adapted to disconnect the power supply from the load by applying an activation signal to the solid-state switch to cause it to conduct, then energizing the relay and then removing activation signal to the solid-state switch in that order. A corresponding method of operation is also disclosed.
