摘要： The marine connector comprises a pair of complementary connector units, each attachable to an electric cable-end for interconnecting the same. Each connector unit has longitudinally-spaced, front and rear end walls interconnected by an axial transverse partition. Male and female electric contact elements are mounted on the front wall of each connector unit on opposite sides of the partition and are aligned for telescopic connection with one another. The conductor ends are anchored to the partition by means including a solder ball and extend therefrom to the related contact elements. A sealing sleeve made of a flexible resilient material is slidably mounted on the cable-end portion leading to each unit. Compression means constructed of rigid material are slidable on the cable ends and have axial bores to slidably receive the sealing sleeves and are adapted to axially compress the sealing sleeves to effect both internal and external expansion thereof to thereby provide fluid-tight seals between the cable and the compression means. A two-part male and female threaded housing is slidably mounted about the respective cable ends for enclosing the joined connector units when the two parts are screwed together and are operable thereby to exert end-wise forces for actuating the compression means.

摘要： An electrical connector of the type wherein each contact element of the plug engages a contact element of the receptacle at two locations, in which the contact region of each element has a straight rear portion extending at a constant height and a front end which is convexly curved at a small radius across the entire width of the element, the convex front end forming a projection lying only a small distance above the level of the straight rear portion. The contact element has a straight root portion with a rear end lying against a bottom wall of a groove and a front end normally above the top of the groove, the rear and front ends of the root portion forming sharp curves where they connect respectively to a shank of the blade and to the contact region.

摘要： A two-piece connector for battery jumper cables wherein the connector portions each indicate the positive and negative battery terminals to which the cables from the connector are to be connected. The connector further includes a two state LED device which provides a green light when the cables are connected to a battery with polarity in the manner stated on the connector and a red light when the polarity is reversed. The circuitry, therefore, is contained directly in each connector half. The connector halves are hermaphroditic so that they can not be connected in reverse polarity condition.

Like connector housings, termed "hermaphroditic" in the industry in that each contains male and female pins and sockets, are constructed and mated in a manner that maximizes electrical and mechanical integrity yet minimizes size. A pair of like, elongated insulated housings of generally U-shaped transverse cross section have a plurality of aligned closely spaced bores with male electrical contacts supported therein in one leg and a plurality of closely spaced tubular female contacts in the bight portion of each housing, the housings being adapted to mate with one another so that the male and female contacts are directly supported by the bores in one leg of each housing.

摘要： A two-contact power connector made up of identical halves, each half having a base member and a pair of tubes, a large tube and a small tube, extending forwardly therefrom, with the small tube on each half telescoped in the large tube on the other half when the halves are connected. The contacts in the two halves are enshrouded by the telescoped tubes when the connector halves are connected, preventing accidental grounding. The contacts are releasably held by collet type retention members. Integral latching hooks are provided between the tubes, for releasably latching the connector halves together. One of the halves can be releasably mounted on a panel, thereby supporting the entire connector when the halves are connected.

摘要： A matrix pin board has a plurality of transversely and longitudinally extending I-shaped elements with the flanges having a plurality of semicircular recesses spaced at intervals along the edges thereof. The I-shaped elements are side by side to form two insulating plates with channels therethrough and the flanges abutting to define holes at the recesses therein. The bottom flanges of the uppermost elements have a plurality of T-shaped transverse recesses therein at spaced intervals therealong, and the top flanges on the lowermost I-shaped elements extend through the T-shaped recesses. The holes defined by the flanges of the elements are aligned in vertical lines extending through the channels. The elements are held in engaged relationship and conductor elements extend along the channels having holes therethrough aligned with the vertically aligned holes and individual contact portions adjacent each of the holes, and terminal means are electrically connected to each of the conductor elements and extending to a point outside of the board. Pin elements can be inserted into the aligned holes for electrically connecting the conductor element in one of the uppermost channels with the conductor element in one of the lowermost channels.

摘要： This invention relates to a seismic electric connector assembly which comprises a pair of cooperable plug members. The connector carries a plurality of engageable male and female electric contacts in opposed end faces of the plug members. The contacts are embedded in a resilient, elastic insulator base.
