    a high-frequency measuring system coupled to at least two electrical phase lines of the installation, said measuring system being configured to extract a first signal representative of high-frequency components of electrical currents flowing through said phase lines;
    a plurality of low-frequency measuring systems, each coupled to one electrical phase line of the installation, each being configured to acquire a second signal representative of the alternating line current flowing through the corresponding phase line; and
    a data-processing module programmed to detect an arc fault on the basis of the second signals and of the first signal.

    摘要: An over-voltage protection circuit includes an over-voltage detection circuit, a voltage generator and a switch for providing over-voltage protection between two pins of a USB Type-C port. The over-voltage detection circuit provides an over-voltage signal according to the level of the second pin. The switch includes a first end coupled to the first pin, a second end coupled to the second pin and a control end coupled to a control signal. When the over-voltage signal does not indicate an over-voltage occurrence at the second pin, the voltage generator provides the control signal having a first level for operating the switch in a first region. When the over-voltage signal indicates an over-voltage occurrence at the second pin, the voltage generator adjusts the control signal to a second level for cutting off the switch. The switch operates in a second region after the over-voltage occurrence and before the switch is cut off.

    摘要: An electrical protection method for detecting an electrical fault in an electrical installation includes: measuring electrical variables by way of an auxiliary protection device, the electrical variables being associated with phase conductors; automatically analysing the measured electrical variables in order to identify a condition representative of a short circuit between phase conductors; detecting an electrical fault, such as a short circuit between the three electrical phases associated with the phase conductors without any neutral conductor involved, based on the measured electrical variables; triggering the opening of a switching device of the auxiliary protection device when an electrical fault is identified in order to disconnect one of the phase conductors, the switching device being connected to one of the phase conductors.

    摘要: A leakage current protection device with automatic reset after power outage includes a switch, a power supply module, a leakage current detection module, a self-testing module, a drive control module, and a first reset module. The drive control module drives the switch based on a leakage current signal from the leakage current detection module and/or a self-test fault signal from the self-testing module. The first reset module functions to automatically set the leakage current protection device in a connected state when power resumes after an outage. Another leakage current protection device with manual reset after power outage includes similar components above and also a second reset module, which functions to automatically set the leakage current protection device in a disconnected state when power resumes after an outage; the device can then be manually reset using a reset switch. These two devices can suit different needs of different electrical appliances.

    摘要: The invention provides a method and device for fault section identification in a multi-terminal mixed line. The method comprises obtaining positive sequence voltage and current phasors from measurements of voltages and currents at each terminal of the mixed line. The method further comprises calculating a voltage phasor for each terminal, wherein the calculation of the voltage phasor for a first terminal is performed using at least the voltage and current phasors obtained for one of a second terminal and a third terminal, and the current phasor obtained for the first terminal. Thereafter, the method comprises determining a section of the mixed line having the fault, based on comparison of the calculated and obtained voltage phasors for each terminal. In addition, the method comprises controlling a switching device with a re-trip signal generated based on the determination of the section with the fault.

    摘要: Systems and methods of detecting failures in an assembly that uses a variable differential transformer sensor. In one embodiment, a signal processor receives an excitation signal applied to the sensor, and detects a zero-crossing of the excitation signal. The signal processor receives an output signal of the variable differential transformer sensor in response to the excitation signal, and detects a zero-crossing of the output signal. The signal processor detects a fault in the assembly responsive to a determination that the zero-crossing of the output signal is separated from the zero-crossing of the excitation signal by more than the detection threshold.

    摘要: The invention relates to a space-limited protection module with at least two overvoltage protection elements in parallel current branches, wherein the protection module comprises a local multistage indicator for indicating at least one operating state, a warning state and a defect state, wherein the parallel switched overvoltage protection elements are arranged on a circuit board in electrical connection to conductor tracks of the circuit board and attached in a thermally softenable manner, wherein the first overvoltage protection element is associated with a first force accumulator and the second overvoltage protection element is associated with a second force accumulator, which in the soldered state exerts a force on the respective overvoltage protection element in parallel with the surface of the circuit board, so that in the event of a heating of an overvoltage protection element beyond the softening point of the thermal adhesion the respective overvoltage protection element is displaced sideways, so that an electrical connection to the conductor tracks of the circuit board is interrupted, wherein an interruption of the electrical connection of the second overvoltage protection element is always signaled as a defect state while the interruption of just the electrical connection of the first overvoltage protection element is signaled as a warning state.
