摘要: A DC to DC converter having improved transient response, accuracy, and stability. The DC to DC converter includes a first comparator configured to compare a first signal with a second signal. The first signal has a DC offset determined, at least in part, by a DC reference voltage source. The second signal is representative of an output voltage level of the DC to DC converter. The comparator is further configured to provide a control signal to a driver based on a difference between the first signal and the second signal, the driver driving the output voltage of the DC to DC converter. The DC to DC converter further includes an accuracy circuit to enhance accuracy of the DC to DC converter. The DC to DC converter may further include a stability circuit to enhance stability of the DC to DC converter.

摘要: An apparatus for converting direct voltage into three-phase alternating voltage and conversely comprises a VSC-converter (8) having a direct voltage intermediate link (9) and at least one phase leg (12, 13). Each current valve (14-17) of the phase legs has at least one semiconductor device of turn-off type and a rectifying member connected in anti-parallel therewith. A transformer (19) has two opposite ends of a first winding (20) thereof connected to an output (21, 22) each of the VSC-converter and a second winding (23) connected to a direct converter having at least three phase legs. Each of the current valves of the direct converter being able to conduct current and block voltage in both directions and to turn on by gate control. The midpoints (27, 27′, 27″) of the phase legs of the direct converters are provided with phase outputs for forming a terminal for the alternating phase voltage between these phase outputs.

摘要: A single-phase PWM converter system in accordance with the present invention employs a sample-and-hold circuit which samples and holds a direct current in the state wherein one of two-phase gate signals of a positive or negative side arm is ON and the other phase is OFF, determines the sign of an output of the sample-and-hold circuit according to the two-phase gate condition, detects a phase current at the input side of the converter, and controls a voltage at the input side of the converter so that the detected current value agrees with a power supply current command. Further, a three-phase PWM converter system in accordance with the present invention detects the effective current and the ineffective current of the power supply current from the direct current, and based on the values, controls the PWM converter so that the sine wave power supply current whose power supply power factor is 1 is provided.

摘要: A forward converter circuit has substantially reduced switching losses to provide greater efficiency than the aforementioned conventional circuit. A first switch is coupled to a primary winding of a transformer and adapted to selectively couple a bus voltage terminal to a first terminal of the primary winding. A second switch is coupled to the transformer and adapted to selectively couple a second terminal of the primary winding to ground. The first and second switches are triggered in response to a first periodic gate control signal. A diode is coupled between the bus voltage terminal and the second terminal of the primary winding of the transformer. A third switch is coupled to the transformer and adapted to selectively couple the first terminal of the primary winding of the transformer to ground. The third switch is triggered in response to a second periodic gate control signal. The second periodic gate control signal is substantially inverted with respect to the first periodic gate control signal. A capacitor is coupled in parallel with the second switch. Power from the bus voltage terminal is transferred from the primary winding to the secondary winding of the transformer during a portion of an operational cycle of the forward converter circuit with the first and second switches being in a conductive state responsive to the first periodic gate control signal.

摘要: A high frequency, voltage feedback control mode power converter having a microprocessor outputs a control clock signal and a simulated output voltage to control the dead-time value of a PWM controller. The control clock signal is decided by an input interrupt process program and an output interrupt process program written in the microprocessor. By appropriately providing the control clock signal for controlling the dead-time value of the PWM controller, the efficiency of the high frequency, voltage feedback control mode power converter is raised and an output steady response is also improved.

More specifically, the present invention provides an inverter circuit for a Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) incorporating a multilayer piezoelectric transformer that uses the longitudinal resonant vibration mode for step-up voltage conversion. 摘要: In order to supply a load, e.g. an electric motor, with current bidirectionally, an H bridge configuration containing four switching transistors is used. In order to attain outstanding electrical conductivity and also thermal conductivity, a half-bridge configuration containing two transistors of opposite conductivity types is constructed. Each of the transistors is realized on a chip, the rear sides of which chips are seated on a common conductive support preferably produced from metal. Each housing is equipped with a support of this type. The rear side of each of the two chips is formed from a drain or source electrode of the transistors. A load can be connected to the support. Two half-bridge configurations can advantageously be combined to form an H bridge configuration.

摘要: A driver circuit includes a half-bridge output stage including two transistors with a common terminal for connection as the driver output to a coil of a DC motor. Two amplifiers drive the transistors in the push-pull operation and two capacitors are connected between the driver output and one input of a respective amplifier to form feedback loops for controlling the output slew-rate. Two current generators are selectively connected to an input of either of the amplifiers through respective pairs of switches. A commutation sequencer turns on and off the switches according to a commutation program. Comparators are connected to the drive output for detecting predetermined output voltage conditions and providing the commutation sequencer with signals for conditioning the commutation program as a function of the detected voltage conditions.

摘要: In a driver circuit for driving a half bridge, that has a high-side semiconductor switch and a low-side semiconductor switch that are connected in series between a first and a second supply potential terminal, a drive is allocated to each of the two semiconductor switches that are respectively switched inhibited or transmissive by the respective semiconductor switches according to the direction of a drive signal. A load can be connected between the high-side semiconductor switch and the low-side semiconductor switch. For an inhibited state of a semiconductor switch, its drive terminal is charged approximately with the potential of the second supply potential terminal in order to attain a negative bias voltage of the drive terminal opposite the source terminal.
