    摘要: A touch sensitive variable speed tuning selector is disclosed. A rotary tuning selector knob includes a finger contact coupled to touch sensitive circuitry. Tuning selector rotation causes a shaft encoder to provide a first pulsed output to tuning circuitry for normal frequency change increments. When the touch sensitive circuitry detects the presence of a finger on the contact, a signal is provided to the tuning circuitry causing each pulse from the shaft encoder to change frequency in larger increments for fast, or coarse, tuning. In a preferred embodiment, a change in the capacitance of a touch sensitive capacitive network changes the timing of input pulses provided to a flip-flop which, in turn, changes the flip-flop output to the variable speed tuning circuitry resulting in an increase in frequency change increments.

An actuator rotates and translates in order to sequentially actuate selected electrical switches which are coupled to a logic circuit by means of two conductors. The logic circuit establishes logic signals to control both the direction and rate of change of the function in response to the position of the actuator.

    摘要: For the wireless remote control of an RF receiver having a remote control signal processing portion, the RF receiver being capable of being switched between an off state, an on state and an enabled state in which a channel is not being received but the remote control signal processing portion is operative, the remote control processing portion includes a remote control signal receiver unit and a memory circuit connected to receive signals from the receiver unit and to convert them into voltages which operate the RF receiver, and there is provided a remote control signal transmitter having a button or key for each channel and arranged to transmit, upon actuation of a given button, a carrier signal which is pulse modulated with a number of pulses corresponding to the selected channel. The memory circuit has one location for each such channel and an additional location which can produce an output voltage to switch the receiver from its on state to its enabled state. Only one memory location can produce an output voltage at any given time.
