摘要: Systems and methods provide reliable voice connections dual-connectivity environments, given limitations of available spectrum. A system includes a first wireless station and a second wireless station. The first wireless station provides a shared spectrum of a first frequency band, the shared spectrum including a first spectrum for a first cellular wireless standard and a second spectrum for a second cellular wireless standard. The second wireless station is at least partially within a coverage area of the first wireless station and provides a third spectrum for the second cellular wireless standard. The third spectrum is a millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum. The first wireless station broadcasts a parameter barring an end device in an idle mode from camping on the second spectrum. The first wireless station or the second wireless station triggers the end device to swap to the second spectrum when a paging request for a voice call is received.

摘要: A device of a RAN may receive first traffic associated with a first network type service, second traffic associated with a second network type service, and core network data associated with a core network that provides the first network type service and the second network type service. The device may calculate a per QCI split based on the core network data, and may calculate an initial resource split based on the per QCI split. The device may provide, to a first device, data identifying the initial resource split, and may receive a traffic bias per QCI based on providing the data identifying the initial resource split. The device may calculate a final resource split for the first traffic and the second traffic based on the traffic bias per QCI, and may cause the final resource split to be implemented via resources associated with the RAN.

The processor may be further configured to monitor one or more trigger conditions associated with the 5G function node; detect a trigger condition, of the one or more trigger conditions; identify an on-demand process associated with the 5G function node based on the detected trigger condition; and activate the identified on-demand process in a serverless computing system using a serverless computing interface, in response to detecting the trigger condition.

摘要: A device can receive, at a user plane function (UPF), a set of rules for managing a communications session. The set of rules can include a set of mobility management rules and a set of packet processing rules. The device can store the set of mobility management rules and the set of packet processing rules at the UPF. At a control plane of the UPF, the device can perform an analysis of a flow of one or more packets transmitted during the communications session. At run-time, and based on the analysis, the device can generate a modified set of packet processing rules from the stored set of packet processing rules. The device can receive a packet of the flow, apply the modified set of packet processing rules to the received packet, and forward the received packet and update the modified set of packet processing rules.

The device can attempt, using a modem component included in the device, to establish the data session using the network slice specified by the URSP rule associated with the application and the data network specified by the URSP rule associated with the application.

摘要: A device determines whether an application, utilized by a user device and associated with a network, is a low latency application or a best effort application. The device designates a first network device or a second network device as a designated network device to be an IP anchor point for the application based on a set of rules. The first network device is designated as the designated network device when the application is the low latency application, or the second network device is designated as the designated network device when the application is the best effort application. The device provides, to the user device, information informing the user device that the designated network device is to be the IP anchor point for the application, and provides, to the network, information instructing the network to utilize the designated network device as the IP anchor point for the application.
