The package has a protecting portion arranged to house a cutting portion of said drill in a contact free manner and a locking portion arranged to hold a tool engaging portion of said drill. The protecting portion is allows the user to clamp the cutting portion of said drill by pressing the protecting portion and thereby establishing a contact between the protecting portion and the cutting portion of said drill. The invention also relates to a method and an arrangement.

摘要： A receiving sleeve of a tool set includes a hollow body having an end face with an insertion opening for inserting a tool. The hollow body defines a longitudinal central axis and includes a plurality of inner clamping elements spaced apart in a circumferential direction. The clamping elements have punctiform or linear engagement sections at their free, radially inward protruding end portions. The engagement sections make force-fit and/or form-fit contact with the tool for holding the tool within the receiving sleeve at a radial distance from the hollow body. An inner side of the hollow body has circumferentially spaced rigid protrusions that extend axially in rib-like fashion. The inner clamping elements radially protrude further toward the longitudinal central axis of the hollow body than the rigid protrusions.

摘要： The cheek pouch anchor, formed of a resilient filament, fits within a user's cheek pouch. The anchor dynamically spans a user's inter-occlusal space and lip opening as a user's jaws open and close. The anchor can be formed of inter-connected, conversely-adjustable loops to enable user adjustment of its span. It can stabilize a work piece, such as an airway, in a user's mouth. The cheek path airway fits a path between a user's lips and through the user's cheek pouch and rear-jaw gap, avoiding the user's bite. It provides supplemental air to a user's rear-mouth cavity independently of a user's nasal airways while a user's lips remain closed. It can be used in combination with mandibular jaw-control and tongue-control devices whereby the combination mitigates breathing restrictions in a user's nasal and throat airways. It can be manufactured in-line and folded by a user to fit the user's cheek pathway.

摘要： A device is operatively associated with a drill used in connection with forming a hole in which a dental implant is to be installed. The device is made in multiple sizes suitable for accommodating differences in spacing between existing teeth between which one or more new prosthetic teeth are to be installed as well as accommodating differences in the bucco-lingual alveolar ridge width and the mesio-distal alveolar ridge length between the existing teeth where the implant is to be installed. The device is formed in such a way as to aid correct placement of the dental drill during implant surgery. The device permits the size of the proposed implant to be evaluated by visual comparison with the size of the selected implant site. The device further permits locating the dental implant pilot drill correctly so as to achieve successful implant placement.

A disinfecting solution within the container permeates the supporting material such that a distal insertion end of the instrument is immersed within the disinfecting solution. The disinfecting solution is preferably capable of maintaining the distal insertion end of the instrument in at least an aseptic condition. The supporting material maintains the instrument in an upright position such that the proximal end of the instrument is readily grasped.

摘要： A surgical tool container system for the organization, sterilization, storage and presentation of a group of surgical instruments for selection and retrieval by a medical practitioner during a surgical procedure. The container system includes an outer case having separable base and lid portions with a tool-holding tray removably inserted within the base portion of the case. The tray is provided with a plurality of holes formed therethrough and wherein a respective plurality of elastomeric grommets are fixed to the tray. Each grommet includes an axially extending bore wherein the shank of a surgical tool may be inserted and frictionally engaged in a generally upright orientation with respect to the tray. The grommets removably secure the tools in their original positions within the container regardless of container orientation, yet also permit the quick and easy one-hand retrieval of a tool from the container during a surgical procedure, as well as equally quick and easy replacement of the tool within the container for subsequent sterilization and use cycles.
