    摘要: A clamping chuck for machine tools comprising a chuck body and a plurality of clamping jaws which can be displaced together radially by means of a drive comprising key rods is disclosed. An actuating mechanism comprising a releasing bolt is rotatably positioned in the chuck body, and a releasing key can be coupled to the releasing bolt, in order to displace the key rod between an upper working position and a lower jaw changing position. The key rod comprises locking means which enable the releasing bolt to rotate out of the rotary position corresponding to the lower jaw changing position of the key rod, into the rotary position corresponding to the upper working position of the key rod, when the toothing of the coupling yoke is engaged with the counter-toothing of an associated clamping jaw.

    摘要: A chuck has a chuck body centered on a chuck axis and having an axially forwardly opening and axially centered recess and an adjustment ring rotatable but not axially displaceable on the chuck body, having a central hole aligned with the recess, and formed with a plurality of guide passages open radially inwardly into the hole. The body and ring normally are carried on a drill spindle with the shank of a drill bit through the recess and hole and the spindle, shank, and chuck axes all coaxial. Respective jaws radially displaceable in the passages have inner ends engageable with the drill-bit shank in the recess. The chuck body has a face directly axially confronting the jaws and formed with an axially projecting spiral ridge. The jaws have axially projecting teeth complementary to and engaging with the ridge. Thus relative rotation of the body and ring about the axis radially displaces the jaws in the ring.

    摘要: A power operated chuck for lathes comprises a chuck body which has a central bore with at least one groove radially extending from the bore in which a jaw is moved toward and away from the bore for clamping a workpiece in the vicinity of the bore. A receiving pocket is defined in the chuck body adjacent the groove and a key bar is movable in the pocket and has a serrated edge engaged with a serrated edge of the jaw along an engagement line which will effect shifting of the jaw and its associated groove during displacement of the key bar. The shifting element has a portion which engages the key bar for causing the displacement thereof in a controlled amount. The construction includes a free space defined in the chuck body adjacent the receiving pocket with a centrifugal weight therein which is associated with the key and is subject to the action of centrifugal force during rotation of the chuck and it is sized and located to direct a radial force against the jaw at the mating engagement surfaces with the associated key in an amount to compensate for centrifugal forces produced by the rotation of the chuck.

    摘要: A lathe has two tool units for machining a workpiece from both end faces, and a workpiece-gripping drive stock disposed between the two tool units. A single chuck is supported on the drive stock and includes a series of radially displaceable gripping members and two coaxial rings rotatable relative to each other for actuating the gripping members, an outer one of the rings serving as a pulley for a driving belt whereby the outer ring is driven and each one of the two rings having an annular series of coupling teeth at one end face thereof. Two devices for respectively loading and unloading the workpiece each comprises a carrier carrying coupling teeth, the coupling teeth of the two coaxial chuck rings being movable into mesh with the coupling teeth of said devices, the coupling teeth carrier of only one of the devices being rotatable and a motor being connected to the rotatable carrier for rotating the carrier. Axially displaceable collets for gripping the workpiece are aligned on the loading and unloading devices with the axis of the chuck and the collet of the unloading device is adapted to be forced back by pressure from the chuck. An adjustable stop is arranged to be engaged by the collet of the unloading device when it is forced back by the pressure from the chuck.

    摘要: A chuck for lathes having a chuck body in which at least two clamping jaws which can be jointly actuated by a drive member are guided in radially displaceable manner, the jaws consisting in each case of a drive jaw part which is continuously in operative connection with the drive member and of a clamping jaw part which is guided for radial movement independently of the drive jaw part within the chuck body and can be connected in form-locked manner with the drive jaw part by a coupling piece arranged in the drive jaw part. The form-locked engagement of the coupling piece with the clamping jaw part can be eliminated via positive drive surfaces by a spring-loaded actuating member which is movable substantially radially and independently of other actuating members. In order to be able to develop the drive jaw parts lighter and nevertheless stronger and in order to assure a dependable connection between clamping jaw part and drive jaw part, the actuating member is arranged in the chuck body and connected via the positive guide surfaces with an intermediate member which is also mounted in the chuck body and is connected with the coupling piece in form-locked manner in the direction of action of the latter but in radial direction permits a free movement of the coupling piece with respect to the intermediate member.
