摘要: A setting tool for inserting an anchor rod into a borehole filled with a curable mass or filled with a cartridge containing a curable mass is disclosed. The setting tool includes a housing, which has a receptacle for the anchor rod, into which the anchor rod can be inserted in the longitudinal direction and in which the anchor rod can be fixed. At least one clamping element is tilted at an angle from the longitudinal axis of the receptacle and is supported in a guide in the receptacle in such a way that the clamping element can be moved from a receiving position, in which the anchor rod can be inserted into the receptacle in the longitudinal direction, to a clamping position, in which the anchor rod is fixed in the receptacle in the circumferential direction, by rotating the housing relative to the anchor rod.

摘要: An apparatus for removing a socket fastener is described. The apparatus includes a base, a camshaft, a sleeve and a cartridge. The base includes a base top section and a base bottom section. The camshaft includes lobes that extend from a camshaft top surface to a camshaft bottom surface. The camshaft is fixedly coupled to the base. The cartridge includes a cartridge top surface, a cartridge lip and a plurality of jaws. Each jaw includes a jaw counterclockwise outer cam surface, a jaw counterclockwise inner cam surface, a jaw clockwise outer cam surface, and a jaw clockwise inner cam surface. The cartridge is fixedly coupled to the sleeve and the cartridge interfaces with the camshaft. Additionally, the jaw inner cam surface interfaces with the camshaft cam profiles. The jaws rotate and engage the socket fastener.

摘要: It is already common in many devices like spanners or pipe wrenches for the pressure between the gripping faces and gripped faces to be related to the torsional load that is applied to turn the gripped object. In these apparatus the grip can be made to relax automatically as the load is removed. The invention relates to improvements in such devices, and to novel designs of mechanical coupling devices that utilise this basic idea. More specifically, the invention firstly proposes a method of improving the performance of an object-gripping tool of the cam-operated gripper-element type, in which method there is applied to the gripper surface a friction-enhancing chemical. And it secondly proposes object-coupling apparatus which includes a body-mounted object-gripper together with a gripper-moving cam device having a cam member that is forced to bear against both the gripper and the body so as to urge the gripper into gripping contact with the object, the resulting friction between the body, cam member and gripper being enhanced by a prior chemical treatment, and so being sufficient to prevent the cam member reversing and the gripper releasing the object so long as force is maintained.

摘要: A quick-change adapter which allows the precise positioning of a working member such as a tool, a workpiece or the like with respect to a machining device has a precision of one or two ten-thousandths of an inch. The adapter includes first and second holders affixed to the working member and the machining device. Each of the first and second holders includes a mating surface, configured as a helical face gear or as a cylindrical stud and recess. A shank extends from the first holder and has a V-shaped notch on which pins on the second holder abut, so as to draw the first and second holder engagement surfaces into firm abutment. The pins are preferably driven by a floating cam ring carried by the second holder, so that positioning of the holders with respect to one another is determined substantially only by the engagement surfaces. Misalignment of the holder due to movement caused by non-axial drawing on the shank is eliminated. Also preferably, the cam surfaces of the cam ring are more sharply cambered in their initial portions, and less cambered as the pins draw on the shank so as to bring the engagement surfaces of the holders into firm abutment, thereby simultaneously increasing the speed of use of the adapter while more positively assuring firm abutment of the engagement surfaces of the holders.

摘要: An expanding locating and clamping pin assembly configured to locate and clamp a part includes a housing, a locating pin, an actuating mechanism, and a controller. The housing is configured with a plurality of radial jaw guides and a part rest face. The locating pin has a plurality of jaws radially movable in the radial jaw guides, extending past the part rest face, and configured with a part clamping feature. The actuating mechanism is connected to the housing and the jaws and is configured to synchronously move the jaws to a radial position and to apply the clamping force. The controller controls the radial position of the jaws and the clamping force. The part rest face and the jaws of the locating pin are configured to receive the part in a located position and to clamp the part in the located position via the clamping force.

摘要: An expanding locating pin assembly configured to locate and hold a part includes a housing, a locating pin, an actuating mechanism, and a controller. The housing is configured with a plurality of radial jaw guides and a part rest face. The locating pin has a plurality of jaws connected to and radially movable in the radial jaw guides and extending past the part rest face. The actuating mechanism synchronously moves the jaws to a radial position and applies a holding force to the part. The controller controls the radial position and the holding force of the jaws. The part rest face of the housing and the jaws of the locating pin are configured to receive the part in a located position. The jaws of the locating pin are configured to hold the part in the located position via the holding force and a friction force resulting from the holding force.
