Abstract: A method for detecting poor welding in welding and a related device are provided. The method includes the following. An industrial personal computer (IPC) obtains an electrical signal corresponding to an infrared light signal generated by a target weld in a first period. A start moment of the first period is not earlier than a moment at which the complete target weld is formed. The IPC determines whether the target weld has poor welding according to the electrical signal corresponding to the infrared light signal.

Abstract: Medical devices for operating an end effector including a housing, a drive shaft, a drive body and a drive link. The drive shaft is moveable relative to the housing to actuate the end effector. The drive body is operably coupled to the drive shaft. The drive body includes a proximal collar and a distal collar. The drive link includes a proximal cam surface and distal cam surface, and the drive link is operatively coupled to the housing and actuatable to translate the drive shaft with respect to the housing. The proximal cam surface is configured to interface with the proximal collar when the drive link displaces proximally to translate the drive body in a proximal direction, and the distal cam surface is configured to interface with the distal collar when the drive link displaces distally to translate the drive shaft in a distal direction.

Abstract: An electrical apparatus includes first and second welded members that are welded together. The first welded member has a first metal part and a first resin part covering part of the first metal part. The second welded member has a second metal part and a second resin part covering part of the second metal part. The first metal part has a first standing terminal portion exposed from the first resin part and standing in a standing direction. The second metal part has a second standing terminal portion exposed from the second resin part and standing in the standing direction. The first and second standing terminal portions are welded to each other so that a weld is formed therebetween. The first and second resin parts partially overlap each other in the standing direction. The weld is within a projection region of the first and second resin parts in the standing direction.

Abstract: Point group data obtained by measuring the penetration depth of a keyhole 66 during laser welding is divided into a plurality of regions in the depth direction of measured values, and evaluation data showing a change in number of points with time is acquired for each of the plurality of regions. An average variation in number of points is calculated for each of the plurality of regions based on the plurality of pieces of evaluation data. When the average variation is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold, it is determined that measurement of the penetration depth of the keyhole 66 is unstable under the welding condition.
