    摘要: A valve assembly includes a body engageable with a container, an internal cavity, and a vent outlet. A wall divides the internal cavity into a first chamber and a second chamber, the first chamber being between the bottom end of the body and the wall, and the second chamber being between the top end of the body and the wall, in communication with the vent outlet. An umbrella valve is coupled to the wall and has a central passage and an umbrella portion. The umbrella portion is positioned within the second chamber and is configured to engage a top side of the wall. The umbrella portion is configured to deform away from the top side of the wall to vent a gas along a first pathway from the first chamber to the vent outlet in response to pressure within the first chamber exceeding a cracking pressure of the umbrella valve.

    摘要: A fuel tank isolation valve is provided having a main valve body including a fuel tank port and a canister port, a main bore, and an actuator selectively operable to allow or inhibit vented fuel vapors to move from the first port to the second port along a first path. The body can define an airflow bypass orifice that allows vapors to move from the first port, through the main bore, to the second port along a second path, while the actuator is in the closed mode inhibiting vapors from moving along the first path. This flow through the orifice can equalize pressure in a fuel tank and the canister during a purging operation on the canister. The valve can include a fitting that directly couples the valve to the canister without any intermediate hoses, in a cantilevered manner. A related method of use is provided.

    摘要: A float valve (10) is provided for use with a liquid medium, the float valve having an upright configuration and an inverted configuration. The float valve includes: a housing (12), defining at least one inlet port (20) and at least one outlet port (24); a float assembly (60) movable within the housing; and an auxiliary float member (50) movable within said housing. The float assembly (60) comprises a primary float member (70; 70′), different from the auxiliary float member, and a spring element (80). The primary in float member is configured for closing the at least one outlet port when in abutment therewith, the spring element being configured for providing a biasing spring force to the primary float member in a direction towards said at least one outlet port. The auxiliary float member is configured for providing a net upthrust force with respect to the liquid medium under submerged conditions irrespective of whether the float valve is in said upright configuration or in said inverted configuration.
