Abstract: A sorbent structure that includes a continuous body in the form of a flow-through substrate comprised of at least one cell defined by at least one porous wall. The continuous body comprises a sorbent material carbon substantially dispersed within the body. Further, the temperature of the sorbent structure can be controlled by conduction of an electrical current through the body.

Abstract: Provided is a hydrolysis reaction device for dechlorination and decyanation of blast furnace gas, including a tower body, where a top of the tower body is provided with an air inlet channel, and a bottom of the tower body is provided with an air outlet channel, and functional zones are arranged in the tower body. The functional zones are sequentially an air inlet zone, a first protective agent zone, a first transition zone, a second protective agent zone, a second transition zone, a hydrolysis zone and an air outlet zone along a gas direction, and adjacent functional zones are communicated. Feed holes and discharge holes are uniformly arranged on an outer side surface of the tower body. Gas in a tower radially passes through the protective agent zones and the hydrolysis zone.

Abstract: An evaporative emission control canister system comprises an initial adsorbent volume having an effective incremental adsorption capacity at 25° C. of greater than 35 grams n-butane/L between vapor concentration of 5 vol % and 50 vol % n-butane, and at least one subsequent adsorbent volume having an effective incremental adsorption capacity at 25° C. of less than 35 grams n-butane/L between vapor concentration of 5 vol % and 50 vol % n-butane, an effective butane working capacity (BWC) of less than 3 g/dL, and a g-total BWC of between 2 grams and 6 grams. The evaporative emission control canister system has a two-day diurnal breathing loss (DBL) emissions of no more than 20 mg at no more than 210 liters of purge applied after the 40 g/hr butane loading step.

Abstract: An integrated waste gas treatment system includes an adsorption/desorption device that receives a waste gas that includes an organic compound and an organic nitrogen compound exhausted from a semiconductor manufacturing facility, where the adsorption/desorption device adsorbs the organic compound and the organic nitrogen compound and concentrates and desorbs the organic compound and the organic nitrogen compound, and a catalytic decomposition device disposed adjacent to the adsorption/desorption device, where the catalytic decomposition device includes a catalytic chamber that provides a gas passage through which a gas desorbed from the adsorption/desorption device flows and an oxidation-reduction catalyst disposed in the gas passage that removes the organic compound and the organic nitrogen compound from the desorbed gas. The organic compound and the organic nitrogen compound are subjected to an oxidation treatment by the oxidation-reduction catalyst, and nitrogen oxides generated by the oxidation treatment are removed by a selective reduction reaction.

Abstract: An air cleaner for a fuel cell system includes a housing, a first filter, and a second filter. The first filter is arranged inside the housing and collects dust contained in air. The second filter is arranged side by side with the first filter in an air flowing direction inside the housing and adsorbs impure gas contained in air. The first filter includes a filtering member, which has nonwoven fabric and filter paper adhered to the nonwoven fabric. The filter paper is located on a downstream side in the air flowing direction of the nonwoven fabric and has a higher packing density than the nonwoven fabric. The second filter includes a base member having a honeycomb structure with through-holes and adsorbent, which is provided on inner surfaces of the through-holes and adsorbs the impure gas.
