摘要: The present invention relates to a cleaning implement that includes a melamine-formaldehyde foam. The melamine-formaldehyde foam includes from about 0.1 to about 5 weight % of at least one linear polymer with a number average molecular weight Mn in the range from 500 to 10,000 g/mol. Additionally the present invention encompasses processes for making and methods for cleaning hard surfaces with a cleaning implement according to the present invention.

摘要: A melamine-formaldehyde foam manufactured by including a melamine-formaldehyde condensate that has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) in a range of 1000 to 10,000 g/mol, a solid content in a range of 60 to 80 percent by weight (wt %), and a viscosity in a range of 1000 to 10,000, and a method of manufacturing the melamine-formaldehyde foam. The melamine-formaldehyde foam can have a uniform cell structure, while exhibiting excellent mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elongation.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a modified porous composite structure includes steps as follows. A functionalized melamine sponge is provided, a porous organic framework source is provided, a connecting step is conducted, and a modifying step is conducted. The porous organic framework source includes a porous organic framework or a precursor of the porous organic framework. The porous organic framework and the precursor of the porous organic framework include a plurality of first ligands. Each first ligand includes at least one tetrazine group. In the connecting step, the functionalized melamine sponge is combined with the porous organic framework, so that a porous composite structure is obtained. In the modifying step, a reactive group of a modifying group donor is reacted with the tetrazine group, so that a modifying group of the modifying group donor is connected to the porous composite structure to obtain the modified porous composite structure.

摘要: This disclosure is related to a class of metal-ion induced hydrophobic polymers and method of producing such class of compounds by a one-step solution immersion process. Specifically, a metal-ion Induced hydrophobic polymer or melamine sponge (MII-HMS) is disclosed. Such polymer or sponge is demonstrated to be highly hydrophobic and oleophilic and exhibits excellent oil absorption capabilities, being able to absorb a wide range of oils and organic solvents up to 71 to 157 times of its own weight.

摘要: The present invention generally relates to a process for reducing formaldehyde content from cationic melamine-formaldehyde resin solution. Said process comprises the steps consisting of charging a starting solution to an ultrafiltration membrane system, separating said starting solution into a concentrate solution which mainly comprises cationic melamine-formaldehyde resin of high molecular weight, formaldehyde and water, and a permeate solution which mainly comprises cationic melamine-formaldehyde resin molecules of low molecular weight, formaldehyde, acid compounds and water and treating the permeate solution to reduce the free formaldehyde content of the permeate.

摘要: Methods for producing microcapsules begin by preparing an emulsion of a surfactant, core material, and water, followed by the addition of a crosslinking agent and a melamine formaldehyde prepolymer, which is subsequently polymerized. The crosslinking agent is added before the melamine formaldehyde prepolymer, with a first addition or a second addition of a melamine formaldehyde prepolymer, or is divided for addition with both a first addition and a second addition of melamine formaldehyde prepolymer. The crosslinking agent is a mixture of a reaction product of a cyclic urea (U) and a multifunctional aldehyde (A), and at least one crosslinker selected from the following group: a reaction products of (i) an aminotriazine and at least one aldehyde selected from the group consisting of aliphatic monoaldehydes and multifunctional aliphatic aldehydes, (ii) urea and/or cyclic ureas and formaldehyde, or (iii) phenols and aliphatic monoaldehydes, or from alkoxycarbonylaminotriazines, or multifunctional isocyanates, epoxides, aziridines, and carbodiimides.
